The Dome

Welcome to The Dome; a unique, rustic, lakeside property. Located on Macpherson Lake, Guysborough Co, the dome offers the perfect setting to create lasting memories. Enjoy swimming and fishing off our private dock or take the paddleboat, paddle board, and kayaks out for a cruise. Soak in the sunshine on our large patio while sipping on a cold one. At night, stargaze while sitting around our wood and propane fire pits. If the ocean is more your style, a provincial beach is only 5 minutes away.

An open communal space features high wooden ceilings and a cozy arrangement of seating. Various chairs and tables are arranged around a decorative rug, with large windows allowing natural light to fill the room. Multiple colorful artworks adorn the walls, enhancing the welcoming ambiance.

The Beaver Dome at Cabot Shores

This 16-foot diameter dome sits on a raised wooden platform in a secluded wooden area, overlooking Church Pond and the Atlantic Ocean. It has a double bed, and chairs to sit and look out of the bay window. Half of the roof is a skylight, so you can stargaze from bed! There's no electricity or source of heat, but battery powered lanterns are provided. There is an outhouse a one minute walk from the dome, and bathroom with shower located five minutes away in our Main Lodge.
