Beach house vacation rentals in Capaci

We just loved this place! Valeria and her father Aldo were delightful hosts, always at the ready to help with whatever we needed. The apartment is the entire second floor (American) of a large, elegant house facing the public part of the beach at Mondello--which meant that we simply walked out the door and into the ocean, bringing only our keys and towels. The cheerful sounds of the beach float up to the balcony, where we spent many hours watching the world go by. Yet it was peaceful and quiet at night because the street between the house and beach is entirely closed to car traffic June 3 to September 30. Tons of restaurants nearby, and a 20-25 minute drive to the centers of Palermo and to Monreale. After exploring each day we came home to evening swims. Note: this is a home with personality where a family was raised, not a sterile condo. We loved its homey vibe, lived-in quality, and generous space. Beds, AC, showers, kitchen were all clean and functioned well. Hope to be back soon!

Amazing place in Mondello! Easy walk to the beach, nature reserve, restaurants, and grocery story. The place was even cuter than the pictures, and the balcony was super nice!

Alessandro's place was amazing! He was a brilliant, responsive host who was attentive and caring. He was very flexible, even with our check-in that was later than expected due to a delayed flight, and gave us a tour of the home as soon as we arrived. He also gave us lots of recommendations and an overview of the local area before we arrived. Not only was he attentive, but he also gave us lots of advice - he even went out of his way by giving us a lift to a car rental place completely free of charge. The check out process was extremely relaxed, and there was brilliant communication. Overall, the host Alessandro was lovely, going above and beyond, as well as the villa being absolutely beautiful. There was a gate which allowed us to put our car there safely, there was cooking facilities, an outdoor space which was so lovely to spend time in, as well as a washing machine available. The outdoor shower was also a great bonus, which we loved using! I would definitely recommend.

The stay was very pleasant and highly recommend. We had everything we needed there. He was so kind to provide things like coffee, Nutella, etc. Armando was very kind. We had our privacy and were able to enjoy the holiday very much. Thank you and wish you all the best .

The perfect apartment for a beach vacation in Mondello - but Palermo is also super easy to reach by bus! Everything is clean, well equipped, just as shown in the pictures. Very friendly and accommodating hosts, with whom communication went smoothly. Highly recommended!!

We were a family of seven, grandparents, parents, three very active boys (ages 6-12). The owner and his wife were gracious hosts, greeting us with Easter time treats. The house and gardens are even more impressive than the description. Our beds were comfortable. The kitchens were well-equipped. We had a mishap and the host generously helped to solve it. You must have a car. The host can recommend excellent beaches and fun things to do We would love to return.

Magnificent. Awesome. Amazing... How else can we describe the most beautiful pool garden we've ever encountered in many, many Airbnb accommodations? You'll love the views, sounds and smells of nature all around the house. Great showers, good beds, nice surroundings, very friendly welcome, easy communication, handy tips and good base for day trips to Palermo and Mondello Beach or Cefalù. If you're reading this review, know that you have just found the ultimate spot in North West Sicily, so don't hesitate to book it. You will not regret it. You'll get a fun, short, bumpy ride from the gate to the house to reach this wonderful house. We wanted to stay forever.

We had a beautiful, amazing stay! We started off our trip in Catania area and finished it here. It’s only a couple min ride from the airport which was great for us since we flew out of Palermo. The home looked just like the photos. In fact, the yard/pool even looked bigger in real life. We couldn’t use the pool because it rained a bit during our stay, but it was super clean/we still had a blast and enjoyed sitting outside when it stopped raining. We traveled with 4 young children and they absolutely loved the play area on the lawn. That was such a nice added bonus. Home was spotless and had enough space to fit our group of 12. PLENTY of extra blankets and linen. Each room had AC which was nice too. Host was very responsive and great at communicating! We didn’t have any issues finding the home and we were greeted upon arrival with some yummy pies and snacks. So grateful we found this gem.

Quite simply put, la casa di Gioia is a paradise - the best airbnb experience I have ever had. Agata is an exceptional and caring host. The appartment is beyond cozy, a place where I would love to live. I slept really well there, and am already missing the place. This is a 100% recommendation from a picky person who has high standards. Thank you Agata for everything once again!

We had a great short stay at this air bnb! We were only staying the day before we flew back home however I would recommend staying a little longer as the location is so beautiful with loads of restaurants and lovely beaches nearby. Vincenzo was extremely responsive and helpful even giving us a lift from the train station. The apartment also stays nice and cool despite the heat outside. Lovely air bnb!

We wish we could have stayed more than one night in this beautiful flat! Immaculate, comfortable, and walking distance from lovely waterside strolls and delicious, affordable restaurants. Sabrina is a wonderful host!

The stay with Dario, was our last apartment in Sicily. The location is perfect to visit Palermo, Monreale and Mondello beach. The apartment is new and wonderfully large. There were two of us, but there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms so very suitable for four people. In addition to the apartment being beautiful, the most important thing to say is: the tremendous hospitality of Dario and his wife. Upon arrival, there were brioche ready for us, halfway through we got a nice wine from the region and at our farewell delicious sandwiches for breakfast….. and it's not even about what we got, it's much more about the kindness and the willingness to help, give tips and advice. Dario was WONDERFUL and felt familiar like we were friends. I can write much more beautiful and good, e.g. about how neat and clean and new it was... but I would say: experience it for yourself. There were two of us 11 days in May/June 2025 in the Nido de Falco. It is a small, fine studio with a very nice terrace, in a picturesque setting on Monte Pellegrino and with great views of the Addaura Bay. From there we explored Palermo and enjoyed the sea. The accommodation is a wonderful resting place when you return from the hustle and bustle of the city and Mondello beach. You can get to everything by bus and on foot. Only shopping is a bit difficult. We rented a scooter for a few days and were more flexible. Angela and Santino are two very lovely people and extremely hospitable! They are very helpful and accessible at any time. They don't just rent an apartment, they "spoil" their guests - for example, with a culinary speciality to welcome them or by offering a typical Sicilian dinner (fantastic!). We highly recommend staying with Angela and Santino!

Could not recommend this beautiful Airbnb more! Was undoubtedly the best experience I’ve had. The apartment is more beautiful in real life and there is the sweetest little pathway down the beach 2 seconds from the apartment… We had coffee every morning at the little shop at the end of the road and spent our days at Casa Maje - a magical beach club run by very special people. Thank you so much Maria Teresa! This is a very special find and we will absolutely be back! For sure!

Lovely location right by the sea, and you can walk down and swim in the bay in a few minutes. The villa is very spacious and the kitchen has every utensil you might need for cooking, including three different coffee machines and 2 fridges. Erice, Segesta, Selinunte and other sights all within reach (<1hr).

A great place to stay. In easy walking distance to the centre with lots of great restaurants. The apartment has everything you need for a home from home feel. Super comfy beds, good AC, super fast internet and a lovely terrace on the top floor and a small balcony to the main bedroom. Tastefully decorated, with added touches from a great host. The host Serena was very proactive and she offered great suggestions of places to eat. A small supermarket is 1 minutes walk away, as was a great little bakery. The large supermarket was a 5 minutes drive. Ample parking on the street right outside of the apartment, in a quiet area surrounded by local people. I can highly recommend this Airbnb.
