House vacation rentals in Cannock

We had a friend get together for the Easter weekend and we had the most amazing time. The house exceeded our expectations. The social areas were great and very spacious. There was loads to do at the house - swim, sauna, games room, books, relax etc. There were good walking routes listed with clear directions and the pub recommendations were spot on. Red kite were wonderful with communication and replied to messages almost instantly.

Had a wonderful long weekend at Bretforton Manor. Lucy was the perfect host and made us feel very welcome. Everything in the Coach House was spotless and well equipped and we loved having the use of the swimming pool and gardens which were beautiful. Our visit coincided with Bretforton open gardens weekend which was hosted in the Manor garden so we also got to see other gardens in the village as well as entertainment and delicious refreshments on our doorstep. The Fleece Inn pub is a 5 minute walk and we recommend the food there too. Perfect location for exploring the area with Hidcote Gardens and Kiftsgate a short drive away. The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

Spacious and comfortable house for our family of 6 during a rainy February half term. The main reason to rent this place was the pool and sauna which didn’t disappoint and was great for our kids. There is a builder’s merchant right next door to the house which isn’t obvious from the photos but was not a particular problem with respect to noise etc. Lots of great walks nearby - which we will have to rediscover in the future in better weather! Thanks to Phoebe and the owners for making us feel welcome and for being available and responsive to our questions.

What a beautiful place to stay. We weee so lucky there was a last minute opening to book as it is usually booked up (we heated from Sally the host). Stunningly decorated, well equipped, incredibly peaceful and stunning surroundings. An incredibly helpful host. The swimming pool was an added luxury. Definitely returning for more getaways here.

This place was fantastic. Beautiful renovation of a chapel. Our kids absolutely loved the large jacuzzi and I loved the sauna. It’s a pity we spend just the one night Would recommend highly.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, very clean and comfortable cottage. It was very modern, well equipped and felt very homely. Ash's communication was exceptional from the get go, providing us with all the information we needed. We cooked 2 meals there and went to the pub next door for our 3rd meal, where the staff were very friendly and the food was of a good standard. After a short drive, we were able to go on some amazing walks in the region. The countryside is quite spectacular and we were pleasantly surprised not to be charged for parking anywhere we went. Next time we go back we will definitely go to the peak of the 'Cheshire Matterhorn' (Shutlingsloe).

Lucy’s cottage is stunning! Even more beautiful than the pictures! We had a really lovely time - Youlgreave is a wonderful village with 3 pubs, cafe’s and a little shop, plus being close to other attractions in the Peak District! Fabulous host, brilliant location, beautiful cottage!

What can I say about this wonderfully quaint and quirky cottage that hasn't already been written? Probably nothing, but once you've picked your jaw up off the floor it's impossible to not be totally besotted by this hidden gem nestled in the heart of the English countryside, the pictures really don't do it justice. Our initial exploration of the spotless interior was way beyond our expectations, it's simply stunning and is the perfect blend of old and new. Everything we needed was provided and the comprehensive notes provided by Sue were more than adequate in providing clear directions and instructions for the various appliances, etc. Our stay surpassed our expectations in every way possible, if you've ever wanted to stay in an authentic cottage with a truly spectacular garden and doorstep access to to miles of public walkways look no further. Finally, a huge thinks to our wonderfully responsive host Sue for offering this property on Airbnb, very, very highly recommended.

Had a wonderful stay, the barn is amazing and was the perfect backdrop for our week away! Amazingly clean and comfortable and the beds were super comfy. Sonia and Adam were warm, friendly and welcoming 😊

Richard's place has a lovely blend of feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere yet being only a 15 drive into thriving Buxton. It was warm, comfortable and a great size for a family get-together, with some amazing walks literally on your doorstep. We can all genuinely say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Black Sheep Barn is just as described in the listing. It is far from any towns and most villages, but this gives it the seclusion and privacy that you sometimes want from a countryside break. The barn was amazing. It was spotlessly clean and the hosts were really friendly and welcoming. The little touches such as the cake on arrival and fresh eggs from the farm were lovely. It had everything you would want from an accomodation and we really enjoyed our time there. It was very relaxing, and the views are astounding. There are plenty of walks straight from the barn, also with great views. The major towns are within driving distance, so easy to get anything you need. We would recommend this accomodation and may well return in the future.

We had an amazing stay at Vicky & Alex’s cottage. The house was fantastically equipped and beautifully decorated. Very comfy beds with high quality linens. Perfect for a girly hiking weekend away! Thank you so much - we will be back!

Very clean, light and airy - fantastic location close to all amenities within Hednesford. Simply wonderful. Would not consider staying in local hotels again and would love to return on the annual visit. Natalie is a 5-Star Air B&B'er and we are so greatful to have stayed.

Stunning property, furnished beautifully, with wonderful crockery always a bonus & you can tell everything has been thought through with care & attention to detail. Just simply beautiful & the dogs loved the resident dogs. You will not be disappointed plus the sofa & bed are super comfy. Everything you need for a wonderful trip away ❤️

We stayed here for 2 nights. It was a lovely, cosy home with everything that was needed. Jeanette has been responsive and proactive with communication. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay here again when in the area.

Very responsive and professional hosts. They allowed us a later check out time which was greatly appreciated. The property is exactly as described, what you see is what you get. We just needed somewhere to sleep as visiting family members in the area for a few days. We stayed here with a toddler and a dog. Just be mindful that the stairs are steep without a safety gate and the rear patio area is not enclosed, we managed though and it wouldn’t prevent us staying here again.

The house was clean, modern with all facilities you need. Rooms were spacious and well furnished. A lovely outside area to relax in. Parking for 2-3 vehicles. The surrounding area was quiet and safe. Stuart was very quick to respond to emails. Would definitely stay again.
