House vacation rentals in Canandaigua

Appreciated the attention to details, especially the needs of young children staying over - they had age appropriate games, plates & utensils, high chair, pack & play. Nothing was missed. The house was cozy and had plenty of functional space. We would have loved to utilize the pool area in the backyard, if visiting in warmer months!

We had a wonderful stay at Evan's house. The location is great - secluded but not isolated, and not too far from shopping (Wegmans – 15 minutes) and colleges (Ithaca College – 18 minutes). The house was very spacious and tastefully done. For people that like to cook, there is oil, salt, pepper, ketchup and mustard in the kitchen so there's no need to buy or bring them. There were many thoughtful touches, including flashlights by the outside doors, labels by the lights and temperature controls, phone chargers by the beds, and an outside poop bag garbage bin. Our dog really liked running around the property. Evan was super responsive and always got back to me right away.

This was a terrific stay. The hosts communication from beginning to end was as good as can be expected. The home was cozy and well appointed. The property was beautiful and peaceful. 5 stars, will recommend and return again. Thank you!

I loved this place so much! We are definitely going back at some point in the summer for that pool! But everything was perfect and everyone had a great time! The house was so cozy but huge! It felt like we’ve been there forever when we got there, the hot tub was so relaxing especially with the view! I love this place and the driveway isn’t that bad but you will definitely need 4WD! It’s like a fun slow roller coaster lol😂! We also saw a group of turkeys every morning and they were so cute!

Neil's place was the perfect spot for a family reunion. The house was located within walking distance of local restaurants and shops (or a very short drive) and had a nature walking trail just down the street. Neil clearly put great care into making the home comfortable for guests. It was well stocked and appointed. When we cooked dinner our last evening, there were sufficient plates and cooking supplies - a peeler, wine opener, etc. When it rained, we enjoyed the pool. We enjoyed the large dining table with a sufficient number of chairs (lots of cards games). There were plenty of rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. The washer and dryer worked great and he provided the detergent. Will definitely be looking to book Neil's place in the future!

Magnificent homestead built in 1855. Beautiful grounds. Loved the animals in the barn. Lovely tennis court and swimming pool. Comfy beds! Martha was totally responsive and helpful. Peaceful and relaxing stay!😊

My 18 year old, her best friend, and I made the trek from Ohio to visit a college in the area and needed a place to stay for a night. We could not have asked for a better spot. The trip was daunting and very long due to a lot of snow. We got to the house much later than we had hoped. Upon arrival, the porch light was on and tha house was cozy warm from a fire in the fireplace that Charles had made for us! We didn't have time to enjoy all that the house had to offer (hibachi grill, lots of games, and so many knick knacks to look at and enjoy), but we wish we had! It was so late when we got to the house, we took hot showers and crashed. The fresh eggs in the fridge were a welcome treat for breakfast! Charles had the drive plowed so we could get out (the drive is a bit of a hill, so if there is snow, it will need plowed unless you have 4 wheel drive). I truly wish we had had more time to enjoy the space. We will absolutely be back!! Thank you, Charles!

Beautiful house!! Mike and Rhonda did an exceptional job with maintaining the house! The house was very clean, and had all the essentials! We spent so much time at the house basement playing games! Would definitely come back again!!!

I have been staying at AirBnBs for the last 9 years and I can say this was the most beautiful home I have ever stayed. Whether you want to relax and enjoy the views, entertain the kinds in the game room, or relax on the deck with a good book, this place had it. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway on the lake!

My husband, toddler, parents, brother and sister in law, and myself were looking for a comfortable place to stay for a family wedding weekend. This was the perfect spot with plenty of space. Cheryl was extremely kind and responsive the entire stay.

A cozy house with a beautiful lake view. Comfortable beds and an extra large hot tub that is brand new. The closest lake access is about three quarters of a mile away. The hosts were easy to communicate with. The home could use a few updates, but it was a good home base for visiting Niagara Falls,Watkins Glenn and surrounding areas. We saw deer in the back yard! We also spent many hours playing darts in the garage.

We enjoyed our stay at Williams house. We were there for a wedding and we bought our dogs so it was nice being able to have them there.

We had a great experience at Nicole’s! Everything was ‘as-is’ from the listing photos and descriptions and that put us immediately at ease when we checked in. The entire home was clean, roomy, comfy, and visually appealing. There were 6 adults in our group and everyone agreed we would stay here again! Nicole was easy to communicate with and provided us with all the details we needed to find the home and check in without hassle. We would highly recommend others to book with her!

Lovely house at the heart of the Finger Lakes. The house is located on a quiet street and filled with light. It is split across 2 levels with a spacious master and 4 very practical bedrooms. Many highlights including great play-room with plenty of games including arcades (big hit with the kids), a nice garden stocked with grill and fire pit. The bedrooms are well split and have very comfortable beds. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and was put to good use! The house is ideally located close to all and there great eating and wine tasting options in the area. A great tree top adventure is also next by. Sarah provided a great guide and were super reactive to any questions or query. Highly recommend for families or small group getaway!

Our stay at Mike and Tisbe’s was incredible. The home and yard were perfect and the view of the lake and sunset were just wonderful. Mike and Tisbe were always responsive. Highly, highly recommend!!!!

This place was absolutely beautiful! We all had an amazing time and really enjoyed all of the amenities! The house is full of all the essential! I would definitely recommend the house and would go back for a weekend get away in a heart beat!

As described- nice place on the water great for a nice quiet getaway. I would definitely go back. Amenities are super close by and the grill and fire pit are huge adds for an awesome weekend. Some parts of the house are starting to show age a bit and some simple upgrades like bathroom doorknobs could go a long way, but the place is definitely charming and quaint!

Our family absolutely loved our weekend at Justin's retreat! It was comfortable, peaceful and relaxing, with lovely views! We are hoping to come back this summer!

This beautiful lakeside getaway was perfect for my friend's bachelorette weekend. The house was just great for our group of 8 and the lakefront was so peaceful. The area had lots of fun activities too and nice restaurants. Highly recommend for a fun group trip. Hosts were super helpful and communicative

It was another great visit to Kristen's home. The views are mesmerizing from morning to evening. The house has everything you need and more! I loved watching the jet skiers; they have no fear! All the restaurants within walking distance had excellent food and staff, especially the Irish pub. You must visit! I even got a great haircut next door at ShearBreeze by Mellisa. Overall, it's a great place to decompress.. Thanks for sharing your beautiful and comfortable home, and we will probably see you again at the same time next year.
