Monthly Rentals in Cambo

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. A really lovely little bothy in a beautiful spot. Perfect for a weekend break. We were breaking a journey north but it would be ideal for a few days walking or cycling. Thanks so much Marcelle and Alan and the dogs!

We had a great stay. On arrival the lodge smelt lovely and clean and couldn’t tell it had been thoroughly cleaned. There was a small park at the lodge and then another just a 2 minute walk for our kids. The lodge was in the middle of no where over looking a lovely lake with the most stunning sunsets as we sat on the decking. It’s a lovely spacious lodge ideal for groups of adults or families with children. We had a small issue of the hearing not working as we arrived, but Jess came straight from work and sorted the time on the boiler so it was promptly sorted. The bed to us was slightly hard, but that’s my only criticism, other than that it was perfect for what we wanted and would definitely go back.

WOW! What can I say? We booked West Grange Hall for a pre wedding stay for our family and friends and it felt like an absolute dream. The house was divine and pristine, but has so much character and history too. The owners/hosts were exceptional with their communication, and left a lovely welcoming bag with Northumberland goodies on arrival which was hugely appreciated after our long drives from the south of England. I can't even begin to describe the surroundings too, no words or even pictures can really capture how fantastic the whole place was. Our children absolutely loved the place too and ran around the grounds and played a very long game of hide and seek! As well as an Easter egg hunt. Large older homes can sometimes be cold but the house was warm and ready on arrival, great bedding, hot water in all the showers and wifi all the way through the house (even on the top floor!). We are already planning our next visit! An absolute gem in God's Country that you must stay in.

An absolutely beautiful accommodation, comfortable & large in a glorious setting. Zoe is so friendly, unassuming & helpful. Encouraged us to wander around her lovely garden, the very old courtyard & surroundings. Her dogs & cats add to the pleasant home stay atmosphere. The breakfast supplies, tea & coffee were very generous. Zoe booked us into a nearby pub for dinner which was a good idea as they can be very busy. There are a number of things to see in nearby towns. We would have loved to have stayed for much longer & will definitely return to Zoe’s if we ever get back to the UK.
