Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Calumet Township

We the great experience of being able to stay at both of Anjila's properties! The main things that stood out to us the most was how incredibly accommodating and friendly the hosts were and so responsive. I cannot say enough about them. And the spectacular view! WOW! To be clear, this is a unique set up with sharing the common areas outside and a wall with other guests but it works! We met the other family staying and they were super nice. Yes you do hear the other guests a little but to experience the views like these units offer and the friendliness of the hosts far make up for any possible "noise". It was never loud either. Both units have pluses. Both have great beds, space, incredible stock of spices (that was great as I always forgot those), and it seemed they had everything you could possibly want to have for a great outdoor experience! I truly hope we will be back. Thank you so much!!!

Came to town for work and Lesley and her place were both great! I travel for work 8 months out of the year and wish every place I stayed had someone as helpful and easy to work with as her! I would absolutly stay with her again!

Ron & Debbie thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to get back in tune with nature, forget the city life, & let go of things that serve us no good. Watching sunrises every morning and seeing wild life in our surroundings was amazing. We got to leave refreshed & feeling so much love. We hate to go but cannot wait until we are back!

We’ve stayed here several times while visiting our son at MTU. We were here for his graduation and as usual the house was perfect. Melannie and David have been wonderful hosts to us the past 4 years. Both of their properties that we’ve stayed at feel just like home to us. I don’t know how much we’ll be in the area now that our son has graduated but if and when we do I know where we will be staying!

The house was perfect. Beds were insanely comfortable and the house was clean. Beautiful views, set right next to our favorite state park. Will be back for sure, several times!

We had a wonderful stay at Cheryl’s place. It had everything we could wish for, including great weather! Cheryl went out of her way to accommodate my special request for a DVD player so I could show my family a special film. The place is in a lovely setting and is even better than the photos depict. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and enclosed porch. I highly recommend!

Kimberly was the best host I have ever worked with! Accommodating and very responsive. She had nice amenities and made the location feel homey without it being "overdone." We appreciate her help in making our trip wonderful. It is so nice to come across nice people in this world.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming Airbnb! The Finnish-inspired decor and cozy shiplap touches made it feel both adorable and unique. The custom features throughout the home, especially in the bathroom, added a touch of luxury that we really appreciated. My kids liked the custom-built twin beds. Everything was spotless, and Kristen was super responsive and easy to communicate with. The location was ideal—tucked in a peaceful neighborhood but just a few minutes from downtown. We had a great time visiting the Chutes and Ladders Park and the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum. We also took a scenic drive along Lake Superior and enjoyed some beautiful waterfalls and lookout points along the way to Copper Harbor. Highly recommend this place for families or anyone looking for a cozy, well-designed getaway!

We're glad we found this place. It was very clean and comfortable. It's in a really convenient location to explore the area. We'd be happy to stay here again the next time we visit the area!

Great space. Comfy beds, nice seating and a little kitchenette if you want to make food! Appreciated coffee being provided and thee amenities in the bathroom. Quite a nice touch! I will definitely be recommending to others looking for a place in the Hancock/Houghton area!!

I hope that Vern’s place will be our place to stay. They allow pets without extra charges and it was very easy to feel at home and comfortable. The location was about 5 miles from where we needed to be but it was so worth it

The apartment was exactly as described. Great place for two travelers or parents with one to two children. It has a nice view good location to what Houghton has to offer.

The whole stay was great. Very clean, The beds were comfortable to us. The kitchen was stocked with any needed utensils to cook. The bathroom was completely remodeled with lots of room. Lots of room to park your snowmobile trailer. I will forewarn you though, the house sits in a valley and is uphill either way out. Pre-plan your exit strategy with your trailer. I would definitely stay here again, super close trail UP17.

Great, cute, clean and brand new looking place! Everything seemed so clean! I was a bit surprised it was inside a pole barn, but it was extremely quiet, peaceful and a quick drive to Houghton for Michigan Tech move out weekend. Great restaurants and bars there! Close to beautiful nature trails, a sweet historic dam, and waterfalls. Very responsive host 😊
