Go out on a bike, visit a pick-your-own garden or spend a day at the beach 8 minutes away by car and free parking.

Together you eat generously at the long table with six nice chairs. Of course you can have modern conveniences such as WiFi, BluRay, Chromecast and Spotify Connect.

Stay in a traditional Dutch Miller’s Cabin beside an authentic 1632 windmill, surrounded by canals and nature in the North Holland countryside. Hand built during the windmill’s restoration, the cabin offers a peaceful and unique stay while still being close to Alkmaar and only 40 minutes from Amsterdam by train. I am a traditional Dutch miller born and raised in Alkmaar, and my American wife, Kelly, and I enjoy sharing this special place with guests from around the world.

Beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms. All to yourself. At the back, a spacious garden room with fireplace and next to it a private garden. You can heat the garden room with the fireplace. In winter, it may be too cold to sit there with just the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bathtub and a double shower. The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer. Wonderful apartment to stay completely on your own and enjoy the tranquility!

Amsterdam City - Rooftop Houseboat

Step onboard this amazing houseboat, a beautifully restored trekschuit, a traditional Dutch canal boat once pulled by horses along the towpaths. Built around 1900, the boat originally served local farmers, carrying cargo and passengers through the quiet waterways of the countryside. Since those early days, the boat has been lovingly preserved and transformed into a cozy houseboat.

Close to the sea (750 m), the village (500 m), but still in a completely quiet place, but with a wide view, is this nice, 6-person vacation home. The ground floor, with master bedroom and bathroom, is fully wheelchair accessible.
