Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Cahuita

Beautiful place. Perfect for me & two kids in 20s. Very connected to the surrounding nature, sounds of howler monkeys and birds . Clean and refreshing pool with waterfall. As beautiful as pix. Short walk (5-10 minutes) into town, beach and national park . The 2 smaller bedrooms could hear nearby partying late into the night ( but I didn’t) . Could have used more prior advice about pros and cons of getting there ( rental car, Caribe shuttle or plane to Limón ) but Kirsten was very responsive once we were there . Had a blissful time!

El lugar es agradable , muy limpio y en zona tranquila PIenso que no cuesta nada poner unas películas a los cristales de más puertas o cambiarlas , no hay las más mínima privacidad y la presión del agua de los baños es muy muy poca. De ahí en fuera lo recomiendo al 1000

This is the most relaxed I have been in years. I’d stay a year if I could afford it. The sounds of nature just make it so easy to drift off to a nice sleep. The outside kitchen was not difficult to work with. Everything I needed was literally right there. The pool is perfect for relaxing in and is private. While I have a child, it was particularly nice to have a kid free atmosphere where you can just relax. There are so many things to do near by and Jim and his wife are lovely. Luna, the pup, is an absolute joy. I already miss it and can’t wait to come back! Thank you for your hospitality and the relaxing weekend. 🫶🏽

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa in Puerto Viejo war einfach unvergesslich! Die Unterkunft liegt eingebettet im tropischen Grünen und bietet absolute Ruhe und Privatsphäre – ideal, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen und in die entspannte Atmosphäre der Karibikküste einzutauchen. Die Villa selbst war geräumig, sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Besonders beeindruckt waren wir vom Außenbereich mit Pool und Hängematten – ein perfekter Ort, um zu entspannen und die Natur zu genießen. Jeden Morgen wurden wir vom Zwitschern der Vögel und gelegentlichen Brüllaffen geweckt – ein echtes Naturerlebnis! Die Lage ist ebenfalls top: nur wenige Minuten mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto ins Zentrum von Puerto Viejo und zu wunderschönen Stränden wie Playa Cocles oder Punta Uva. Trotz der Nähe zu allem fühlt man sich hier wie in einer ruhigen Oase. Der Gastgeber war super freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, falls wir Fragen hatten oder Tipps brauchten. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen

We stayed here for 3 nights and we loved it! It was so peaceful and quiet. It was really nice and clean just as described. The restroom and shower were really spacious. Everything was amazing! we even spotted some monkeys and sloths outside. Itisha was so nice and always responsive :)

Hidden gem! You will have no regrets for booking this perfect house with a prime location on the Caribbean. Don’t think twice about it. Book it!

Wonderful stay! It’s in the middle of nature, so great for animal sightings! The place is very comfortable, with a lot of space. The bed is comfortable, there’s hot water and good wifi. The outside kitchen is great and all sufficient utensils are in the kitchen. The host is very friendly and helpful! I would stay again for sure!

Este espacio en Cahuita fue muy cómodo y tiene todo lo necesario en el. Ulik’s siempre atendió nuestras preguntas y súper servicial. Cerca de parques nacionales y la playa.

es un pedacito mágico y hogareño, las fotos son tal cuales, es un hermoso estudio con decoracióned bribri y luces qué le dan un sensación preciosa además de que esta rodeado de verde aunque estés cerca de otras casas. De los poco lugares a lo que realmente quiero volver a quedarme porque fue hermosa nuestra estadía. si hay un tomar en cuenta que el apartamento de arriba se escuchan los pasos pero I es algo que no les molesta no va incomodar su estadía. Mery estuvo muy pendiente por más que nunca nos vinos tuvimos todo lo que necesitamos. esta cerca de 3 supers lo cual es muy conveniente y hay restaurantes cerca.

Es una casita encantadora! Era justo lo que buscábamos en términos de espacio suficiente, equipamiento y privacidad. Fuimos 6 personas y el lugar ofrece suficiente espacii para que todos pudiéramos estar a gusto juntos o por separado ( tiene amplia terraza, sala, y comedor). La mantienen muy bien. Además, está rodeada de naturaleza y el paisaje es muy relajante. El centro de Cahuita está cerca en carro como 3 minutos. Además, la atención de Ashley fue excepcional! Estamos felices de haber ido.

This accommodation is a must choose if you are in the area ! The facility is just amazing. It’s brand new and well designed, super clean, the kitchen comes with all you need and you have a beautiful garden direct in front of the flat. Fran and his family were super nice, lovely and helpful and we enjoyed the nice conversations we had together in our time there. When we arrived I feel directly super relaxed, it’s a quite place with a beautiful natural beach in front. You will need from your bedroom to the ocean - 1min - and often we just were alone there. You can see often pelicans hunting fishes, see parrot couples above you and other kind of animals. If you wanna walk - just head up right on the beach and you can at least walk 30min (maybe even more) along this great natural beach. You will have great restaurants and sodas nearby, and also a good supermarket with all you need in just 5min walking distance. If I could I would give more stars - hope to be able to stay here again.

This was my second time staying here. Easy to find, close to everything, and the restaurant is absolutely delicious! A little pricey but 100% worth every penny plus she offers a 10% discount for guests. I would come back just for the food. The pasta is amazing. If you get off the bus from San Jose this is the perfect place to stay being that it is only a few minutes walk away from the bus stop. The beds are comfortable and the only downside would be it’s a little noisy being so close to everything but it did not bother me at all. I would definitely stay here again!

Todo fue excelente, desde la belleza del lugar hasta la seguridad. Nos gustó mucho la ubicación. Edson fue super atento, desde el principio hasta el final. Definitivamente volveremos!

Mangovilla was everything we hoped for and more. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops, yet still peaceful and relaxing. Communication with the host was smooth and positive from start to finish, making everything super easy. The place itself is clean, charming, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back—highly recommended! 🌴🌞

El lugar es super espacioso, bonito y como sale en las fotos. Dónde me quedé no hay con que cocinar (ollas), no hay microondas, y la cocina es de gas. Pero fuera de ahí, todo bien, muy tranquilo y a playa negra se llega caminando bien poquito.

I had a perfect stay in Puerto Viejo and in Ernyk his airbnb. He helped me with extra requests which was very nice. The house is very new and beautiful, a lot of green and animals around + only 5 min bikeride to shops and restaurants. Another plus is the eco friendly elements in the house. I would recommend this place 1000% and hope to return someday.

Buen alojamiento en una zona tranquila de Puerto Viejo, a 5 minutos en coche del centro. Viajamos en familia 4 personas y nos alojamos en una de las casitas que tienen con cocina y litera. Estancia amplia y cómoda. Tal y como aparece en las fotos. Zona común acogedora y piscina muy limpia. El gerente Giacomo muy agradable y siempre estuvo atento. Muy recomendable.

Nuestro alojamiento fue increíble, pasamos un fin de semana increíble con mi familia! Recomiendo el hospedaje a otras familia La ubicación es cercana al centro por lo que puedes escuchar un poco de sonidos de vehículos pero realmente el lugar tranquilo.

Amazing stay, these apartments must be the most modern in the town! It was brand new and spotless. Great WiFi.
