Vacation rentals with a kayak in Caddo lake

Brandi and Steven are EXCELLENT hosts. Their place actually was more beautiful than the pictures. It was beautiful lit with lamps everywhere, the aircon was already running (which was essential due to the humidity of East Texas!), and it SMELLED AMAZING. I don’t know how she got it to smell so good, but it made a big first impression upon entering the home. The place was extremely well-stocked, tons of rags and towels and lotions and soaps, tooth brushes and deodorants and toothpaste, just everything you could need! And Brandi and Steven themselves were the highlight! They are SO accommodating and welcoming and humble. They let us walk through their yard to get to the dock and use their kayaks, and Lake Caddo is truly magical. You can tell they LOVE this place and want to share it with others. We are already planning another trip back in the winter!

We had a great time! We swam, fished, kayaked & enjoyed the peaceful scenery and wildlife. This place was great and Kayla was awesome!

This has been one of my favorite Airbnb properties. Covered boat parking and can drive thru! Awesome place with everything you need and access to the lake

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home's interior is beautiful, and the outside is like magic. The scenic views and sounds of nature make it such a special experience. We only stayed for one night, but I wish it could have been more!

We had an amazing stay at Britney’s place! The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. Britney was so welcoming and provided all the information we needed for a smooth check-in and stay. I highly recommend staying here and would love to return in the future!!

This was a great place to stay. There was plenty of room for everyone in our group, and being able to catch some bass in the private lake was a bonus. There was a water leak when we arrived, but our host was on-site within minutes to clean up the water and ensure we could still enjoy our stay. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Michael and Christine provided a most wonderful experience for my wife and I along with our grown children! Absolutely amazing! Weather wasn’t perfect you might say but our time together in the Huguenot was beyond perfect. My parents (late 70s/early 80s) came for a little while Christmas Day and what memories were made. This place was great!! Check in was very easy. It was clean and the upstairs loft was perfect for our two boys! They had so much fun playing the Xbox! The lake was beautiful at sunset, and my husband was able to dock his boat without any problems. The linens on the bed were so cozy!!! We will be back!!

Great place and nature. The place is located right by river and it is very peaceful and more beutiful than pictures. I definitely will go back.

The house is great and have all the amenities. The backyard is huge and have access to the water. Deanna was always available for us. We really enjoyed our weekend gateway.

Our stay was very relaxing, just what was needed during spring break and a getaway from all the turmoil. There is adequate cell coverage (T-Mobile, allowed for calls when needed.) There is no seperate wi-fi service but that is a refreshing plus. There is Dish TV if you really have to tune in to the talking-heads telling us how bad things are. Or, you can relax, read by the river; bring a guitar 'n make music on deck or in a screened room. OH! Chalk paintings on the driveway! :) Fun stuff. Kayaks are also available. Tours of the bayou and lake available, we used Aaron of Mystic Tours and had a great time. Keith has the number available in a large binder that with history of the area (a very good read if you take the time, for instance: Steamboats used to ply the waters through to Jefferson). There is also a photo album of the house construction that is pretty cool to thumb through. It is about a 30 minute drive to historic Jefferson which is a nice day trip.

This place is absolutely beautiful, very clean and private. Luckily this place is walking distance to my dad’s house so I will definitely be back soon. The place was extremely clean and beyond comfortable. Great fishing in the pond and so relaxing . To not hesitate to book this place . There is a bridge you must cross and it’s a little steep but manageable and kinda fun. Skip was an awesome host and very quick to respond. 10/10

Staying at the cabin by the lake was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a serene postcard scene. The view of the lake was breathtaking,calm, crystal-clear waters that shimmered under the morning sun and reflected the most stunning sunsets in the evening. The cabin itself was equally impressive. It was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need. From kitchen essentials to spices, every detail had been considered. It felt like a home away from home, only better, with nature right at your doorstep. Waking up to the sound of birds, enjoying coffee on the deck overlooking the lake, and winding down with a fire made for the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Whether we were canoeing, stargazing, or just unwinding in the peace, every moment was special.I cannot recommend this cabin enough for anyone looking to recharge,reconnect with nature, or simply escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

It was a great place to stay. We came down from Mississippi for a weekend of fishing. Cypress View was spotless. Very close to the public boat ramp. Very well kept home. Highly recommend

I requested to book at the very last minute. Jennifer responded promptly, was flexible, accommodating and very pleasant to interact with. Though POINT Emerald Cabin looked nice on the outside, the inside was exquisite, designed & decorated like a picture out of a magazine! The living area had 2 skylights & a stone fireplace, and both bedrooms were spacious, had large windows & doors opening to the screened-in back porch. Outside, the water surrounded the big backyard on 3 sides and had beautiful, tall Cypress trees growing out of it, through which to kayak or canoe using the plenty available. There were also 3 different areas set up with lawn/patio furniture to relax and take in the scenery: one in front by the grill, another in the side yard near the boathouse, and a third around a firepit near the water. Despite undesirable weather, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and plan to return very soon! Thank you again Jennifer for being a great host!
