Cabin vacation rentals in Caddo lake

Stayed in the Sproul cabin, very nice setup along the lake. Great views and local, loved the fire pit at night and all the provided wood. We were in town for an event at nearby Barnwell mountain so didn't get to spend enough time at the cabin, but looking forward to staying next year!

Our stay was very relaxing, just what was needed during spring break and a getaway from all the turmoil. There is adequate cell coverage (T-Mobile, allowed for calls when needed.) There is no seperate wi-fi service but that is a refreshing plus. There is Dish TV if you really have to tune in to the talking-heads telling us how bad things are. Or, you can relax, read by the river; bring a guitar 'n make music on deck or in a screened room. OH! Chalk paintings on the driveway! :) Fun stuff. Kayaks are also available. Tours of the bayou and lake available, we used Aaron of Mystic Tours and had a great time. Keith has the number available in a large binder that with history of the area (a very good read if you take the time, for instance: Steamboats used to ply the waters through to Jefferson). There is also a photo album of the house construction that is pretty cool to thumb through. It is about a 30 minute drive to historic Jefferson which is a nice day trip.

This place is absolutely beautiful, very clean and private. Luckily this place is walking distance to my dad’s house so I will definitely be back soon. The place was extremely clean and beyond comfortable. Great fishing in the pond and so relaxing . To not hesitate to book this place . There is a bridge you must cross and it’s a little steep but manageable and kinda fun. Skip was an awesome host and very quick to respond. 10/10

We spent three nights at Eve's cabin in mid-April. It was SO much more than listed, the photos don't do it justice. The house was spotless. LOVED the layout and it was decorated so perfectly, exactly as you would expect a cabin to be. It was just perfect for a weekend getaway. So peaceful and quiet. We spent most of our time on the deck, enjoying the peace and quiet. We fished a little, but mostly just sat and watched the water go by! We will definitely be visiting again.

Staying at the cabin by the lake was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a serene postcard scene. The view of the lake was breathtaking,calm, crystal-clear waters that shimmered under the morning sun and reflected the most stunning sunsets in the evening. The cabin itself was equally impressive. It was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need. From kitchen essentials to spices, every detail had been considered. It felt like a home away from home, only better, with nature right at your doorstep. Waking up to the sound of birds, enjoying coffee on the deck overlooking the lake, and winding down with a fire made for the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Whether we were canoeing, stargazing, or just unwinding in the peace, every moment was special.I cannot recommend this cabin enough for anyone looking to recharge,reconnect with nature, or simply escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Location was great! Right next to the water with a private boat ramp. Plenty of parking for truck and trailer if you bring your boat. Cool slide and swing for the kids to play on. The hot tub was definitely a plus! The outdoor kitchen was awesome as well as all of the sitting space outside. The inside was super clean and had everything you would need inside. Austin was an excellent host who helped us find the best fishing spots on the lake. We caught a ton of fish close to the house!! Highly recommend this place!!!!! You will not be disappointed!

We just moved to the area and this place was perfect with the on site clean storage! Very peaceful and private setting to relax and enjoy the outdoors. At night, put the phone away and listen to the frog and owl sounds, they are a joy to listen to. Thanks for making our extended stay so memorable!

Our friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Whiskey Barrel! The house was beautiful, super clean and had all that we needed! We took this trip so we could all “escape.” We definitely did that! We didn’t leave the property one time! This house checked all the boxes for us. There was so much to do to keep entertained. Pickle ball, kayaking, fishing, hot tub, darts, smart TV’s kept us entertained for our weekend. We brought our pups with us and it was nice that the front yard was fully fenced. If you are bringing pups, they will have to stay in the front yard (that is the only area fully fenced.) Perfect getaway house with everything you will need. Jennifer is a wonderful host and was super responsive! She even checked on us several times throughout our stay. Can’t wait to return!

It was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by how much more beautiful it was in person than I had imagined. The cabin is tucked away by a lake, offering the perfect retreat for relaxation and a break from the everyday hustle. The space was not only incredibly comfortable but also thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a smooth stay. Every little detail was taken care of, from cozy blankets to a beautiful laid out robes– it felt like a true home away from home. And if I needed anything extra, the host was always just a message away, super helpful and quick to respond. The peaceful surroundings allowed me to unwind fully. Whether it was sipping coffee on the porch or curling up with a book by the fireplace, every moment was pure bliss. I genuinely didn’t want to leave! If you’re looking for a place to disconnect and recharge, this cabin is perfect. I couldn’t recommend enough! I will for sure be back!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was exactly as pictured. The surrounding area is beautiful and quiet. The ability to use the neighborhood boat ramp was amazing and made trips to the lake quick and easy. Marissa was super easy to communicate with and answered any questions quickly. Angela and William’s cute comfortable house was a true home from home for us and we loved it so much we stayed a few months while my partner was working locally. We loved the homely touches, peaceful location and the verandas front and back - great indoor / outdoor living. Angela and William were great hosts and so helpful with any queries we had - thank you for all your help and as you know we are already booked to come back!

What wonderful hosts and such a serene place to stay! Between, what I like to call the reflection/meditation benches around the property and the peaceful atmosphere… oh and let’s not forget the dogs! It’s absolutely great! Could not have asked nor imagined a better place in that part of Texas! When I’m back that way my I’ll be looking for availability at Cary and Debby’s! The property in Lone Star was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. I really appreciated the property manager's proactive contact before arriving regarding check-in, and an issue that had happened due to storms in the area which they took care of before our arrival. The house is very cozy, and a comfortable space to share with family. We didn't get to take advantage of the bonfire area, or the outside patio as we were very busy being out there primarily to take care of issues with my Dad's passing, and his Celebration of Life. There were a couple of small things that I noticed that hopefully could be addressed easily, but I would definitely stay there again. The location was great, the surrounding area beautiful and peaceful, and the space was very comfortable :)

If you’re looking for a something special and relaxing this is the place! The hosts were amazing with their responses and kept me updated with everything that was happening in my stay! The check in was easy as well of course the check out! It was a peaceful relaxing get away!

Second time to stay here. Love the peacefulness, serenity, and security. Used the Merlin bird app while sitting on the porch and walking the trails and it identified a large number of different types of birds. Visited Daingerfield State Park, Caddo Lake State Park and Wildlife Refuge plus the Veteran’s Memorial and Eiffel Tower in Paris. All are easy drives from the house. After leaving, also visited Busy B Ranch Wildlife Park in Jefferson. Always enjoy driving the scenic back roads in the area. Looking forward to coming back.

Jerry’s cabin was the perfect peaceful retreat—quiet, private, and just what we needed to escape the city for a few days. The king size bed was super comfortable, and we really appreciated how dark the room was —great for sleeping in! The well water takes a little getting used to, but it didn’t detract from the experience. Our little pup loved it too. Overall, a great stay and we’d definitely come back!

Had a few issues when we arrived. Mattison addressed them quickly and took care of the problems.
