Absolutely loved our stay at Hygge by the Sea. The location of the house was just a walk away from shops and food. Beach front access from the house was a plus and it was already stocked with beach chairs for us to use. House itself is very comfortable and clean. Great for a family with kids. The host is very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

This home is really fantastic. The location is ideal for access to the ORV ramps at Cape Hatteras as well as other points of interest. It's super convenient to get to the grocery store and several great restaurants. The neighborhood is so lovely and walkable. We did not utilize the pool as it was early in the season / cold outside but it looks wonderful. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the indoors and so many great spaces to sit outside and enjoy the peaceful getaway. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Traveled with another family - three kids - everyone had plenty of room and a great time.

Kite's Inn was exactly as advertised and more. The home is beautiful, well-furnished, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved the location with great views of the Pamlico Sound. The House was ideal for pets and small children. The grass yard allowed our dogs to play outside and to swim in the Sound without having to worry about stepping on burs and the beach was ideal for our 1 1/2 year old grand child. The house is easy walking distance to nearby attractions and restaurants. Joshua is a great host who was responsive and proactive with ideas when we had a rainy day.

I can't say enough positive things about Anthony or Diamond Shells. Beautiful beach front home. Do understand that, while the walk to the beach is very short, it is quite sloped - this is the case for every single beachfront home due to the topography. The house was absolutely perfect, and so was Anthony. Very responsive host and answered all questions very promptly and graciously.

The place was as described, a short walk to the beach and across the street from real watersports. The small grocery on the block was unexpectedly excellent.

This was our 2nd time staying here and we absolutely loved it AGAIN!!! The view from the screened in porch is amazing - coffee on the porch every day. It’s right around the corner from the Doll Tree and near 2 of the Ocracats houses. Maggie allows dogs and that allows us to bring our 3 small ones. If there were any animals in the house before we were there - you’d never know. Maggie - thanks SO much for sharing your home and allowing ALL (pups) of our family to enjoy it. We’ll be back!

Great place at Nags Head and convenient to area attractions yet in a quite private setting. The house is in great condition and is as described.

Kimberly was very responsive and very helpful. Home was very spacious and kitchen was well equipped. Beach was a short walk away. loved that the fire permits were provided. note to future guests: you'll need to bring or get things like toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and anything you may want to use to clean up after yourself in the kitchen. the space comes with "starter" set. you will also be putting the sheets on your bed. not bad, but just be aware.

This was a wonderful experience. We loved the well stocked kitchen and dog friendly house. No one complained, from adults down to teenagers :). Marsha and Steve gave some excellent recommendations for our first stay at Outer Banks. Teens/young adults loved the outdoor shower and mom loved the washer/dryer. The amount of outdoor furniture was impressive. Such a beautiful weekend! Beach is close enough to walk to and the chairs were very helpful. Thanks again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Makai Sunrise! The house had many charming features and was spacious enough for our larger group. The hosts were very thoughtful and accommodating throughout the entire trip. We look forward to coming back!

We had a great stay at Toes in the Sand. It was even better than pictured. I was originally worried from the photos that maybe you couldn’t see the ocean from the main living floor, but you absolutely can see the ocean from nearly everywhere in the house. It’s lovely. Such a charming house, quiet, beautiful beach, and near enough to groceries, gas, and anything else you’d need. Also, had a great Oceanside dinner at Fish Heads <30 min north! Hands down my favorite stay in the OBX, great location, perfect for my puppy, can walk to the beach, local convenience store/food. Host was amazing gave me great recommendations!

Loved my stay !!! Beds were super comfy! And the house was super nice with a 10 min walk to the beach !

We had a great time at Sushma’s house. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and extras like dishwasher pods and trash bags. We also appreciated the availability of sand toys, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, pool floats and beach chairs. There were numerous decks to enjoy the sound side views. The house was spacious and very comfy. We split our time between the ocean, the pool, the sound side and even took the ferry to Ocracoke. Sushma was very responsive and a great host. We have rented from outer beaches realty in the past and this was a far superior experience.

Some silverware and plates were dirty, other than that house/host was perfect. Had plenty of space, floor plan was well thought of and amenities were nice. Proximity to beach was top notch and pool/ hot tub were as well. Would definitely return or recommend! Host was responsive and friendly!

Kate was great! The place was beautiful, and all amenities were equal to or better than advertised. Everything was clean. The heated pool and hot tub were ready for us... The decks were great, especially the upper roof deck where you could start early and watch sunrise and go back up at night for sunset... Although the house is in a neighborhood this house is situated so that nobody is near you. The only sort of nearby house faces away from you, so privacy was high, and noise was low. The only thing we contacted Kate about was that when we got there the wifi wasn't working. She responded promptly with the news that the entire Outer Banks wifi was down. So not only was it out of her hands, but she also sleuthed out the problem and reported it to us right away. And it was back up the next morning. Avon is pretty small, and that's a big part of the charm. But we found several good restaurants. Ketch 55 in Avon was very good. Others a few miles south...

Great house, location was fantastic, able to walk to beach dunes in a few minutes. Backyard is incredibly peaceful and serene. The jasmine, oleanders and willows make it so fragrant and mornings are full of birds. Furniture was all comfortable, beds too! Showers were great, including the outdoor shower.

Great convenient location, easy to travel up north or down south. Public beach access is a short walk. Plenty of space and dog friendly, great yard surrounded by trees which provide some privacy. Hot tub was peaceful and nice fun quiet area despite being right off main road. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend!!!

This house was absolutely perfect! Not only was it exactly as pictured and described, but it felt very cozy, while still being spacious and offering lots of options. The location provided quick access to a beautiful beach, and a great ‘central’ location for day trips to Ocracoke, Pea Island, Nags Head and Hatteras, which gave our group great flexibility when people wanted to strike out on their own and then meet up later. Having the kayak and paddle board handy was nice for those who just wanted to relax and ‘chill’ for the day. We especially loved morning coffee on the back deck overlooking the sound, and being able to have dinner together on the huge screened in porch. The kitchen was extremely well-appointed which made meal prep a breeze. Communications with the host could not have been easier. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend!

What a find! The house is beautiful. Dawn and Dave are great and very responsive. We had so much fun and felt right at home the entire time. We can't wait to be back! Don't miss the opportunity to stay at Pamlico Hound....you wont regret it.

We came to Rodanthe to relax and that’s exactly what we did. This is the only Airbnb in the Outer Banks that we’ve considered staying at again. This rental house was more like a home which is rare to find at the beach. So many thoughtful extras to make your stay more enjoyable. The outdoor shower was everything. I didn’t use the shower inside our whole stay. The hot tub was clean and heated up quickly. The master bed was very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the deck talking, laughing, playing games, and enjoying the sounds of the ocean and the breeze. Beach access is right in front of the house which made for a very short walk back to use the bathroom or get a drink. I appreciated having just one flight of stairs to walk my senior dogs up and down to go to the bathroom. The host was very prompt getting back to me and answering all of my questions. We had a slight issue that was out of the host’s control but they did everything in their power to make it right.

If I could give Chris a ten star review, I would. We came for our anniversary and she made it the best weekend we could ask for. So many special touches , and she even decorated for our anniversary. The water views are breathtaking and the neighborhood was so nice to walk around. We loved sitting outside in the evenings watching the sunsets on the high deck And if there was rain there is a covered screen in porch. She had anything we needed and was so kind to us ! We Will come back again 100% !!

We had a Wonderful stay in Hatteras at Wendy’s place. Right across the street from the ocean. Quiet neighborhood and all the locals are very friendly. Beds slept so comfortable! Would stay there again.

Staying at Ryan's place was easy from start to finish. The house is located in an excellent location, two blocks to the beach, and adjacent to all things Avon. It's roomy enough, has great deck space, and is has fresh modern design. Clean, well appointed kitchen. Ryan was easy to communicate with and super helpful. We'll rent again here for sure!
