Monthly Rentals in Butterstone

This is our second stay at The Old Mill. It is ideally suited to us for nearby Lochs to satisfy our daughters’ love of Kayaking and Paddle Boarding. It is also very convenient for visits to nearby Dunkeld, Perth, Pitlochry and Dundee as well as further afield to Edinburgh, Callender and Aberfeldy. The house is very well equipped and comfortable offering everything you are likely to need for a two week stay. We hope to be able to return again before too long.

We had a perfect stay at Roughstones. A warm welcome from Catherine and the most delicious cake! The views were amazing and we enjoyed relaxing in our own private garden. Inside was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished with comfortable seating and bed.The kitchen was very well equipped. Ideally located for us with visits to Scone Palace and Blair Castle.

Cosy, clean cottage. If you enjoy a quiet environment, this is for you! No nipping to the shop as you have a (hilly) drive up the hill, but worth the wait. The kids revelled in the space and freedom and we all loved the warmth of the cottage and quiet time. Favourite thing: sitting at the upper bedroom window first thing in the morning looking over the loch. Bliss.

Super friendly and helpful host. The cottage is lovely and set in absolutely stunning scenery, giving us a great base where we could relax and recuperate. Well worth the price we paid. Thank you Fiona.
