Lovely Norwegian cabin - Room n. 3

EmilyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The cabin is a home away from home. I was traveling from Oslo to Bergen and this was a perfect 2 night stop off: Super close to the Ustaoset train station (5 min walk up the hill) and the guys really made me feel welcome. They have a sauna so you can do sauna then plunge into the lake! Lots of hikes for all levels in the vicinity.

A picturesque landscape showcases several red wooden cabins nestled among green fields. Lush grass roofs blend with the natural surroundings, while a majestic mountain rises in the background, adorned with vertical cliffs and patches of greenery under a clear blue sky.

Hemsedal - cozy Hallingstugu by the river Hemsila

MarcelRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We felt very comfortable in the small cottage. Everything is available… you can really feel at home. Lisbeth was really super straightforward and helped us with everything. The bedroom facing the street is a bit noisy during the day, but completely quiet from the evening on. The small cottage on Lisbeth's family farm is really a wonderful place to stop for those who want to explore the nature and area of Hemsedal.
A modern cottage is set against a backdrop of trees, showcasing a black wooden exterior. A car is parked in front, and large windows provide natural light. The surrounding landscape features gravel and a clear sky, indicating a tranquil rural environment.

Always a pleasure to stay at Lode's cabin! Great location, in a great cabin with a fantastic view! Very good communication with a great host. As returning guests, we will surely book again for the future.
The cabin is featured with a red wooden exterior and a grey roof. White-framed windows provide ample natural light. Bicycles are parked outside, and additional structures are visible. The surrounding grassy area adds to the cabin's rustic charm.

Beautiful location and beautiful authentic house. The five bikes available are ideal for cycling the mountain bike route.
A vast, snowy landscape is illuminated by a vibrant sun, casting long shadows on the glistening snow. Small snowdrifts are visible, with rolling hills in the background under a clear blue sky.

Charming Cottage by the Alpine Resort

IdaRating, 5 stars54 months ago
We stayed here for New Years. Bruce’s cabin is located right by the ski-lift and smaller slope; perfect location for families with children but also for going cross country skiing (terrain is not flat but climbing uphill is worth it). Bruce was very helpful with everything and the cabin had all the amenities we could ask for. Wood for fireplace can be bought in Bagn, should you run out. There is also a small Joker (grocery shop) about 5 min drive, in Reinli, in case you need it. All in all we were very happy with our stay here!
A bright sun shines over a snowy landscape, illuminating surrounding trees and a distant cabin. The foreground features a blanket of fresh snow, while the mountains are visible in the background under a clear blue sky.

"Furubu" - Cosy cabin in the mountain

BarbaraRating, 5 stars41 months ago
Typical Norwegian fjell hut, quaint, plenty of firewood and water. Good beds and cozy living room with lots of candles (short days in early January). With solar light, you could do enough. In the area very good skiing opportunities (cross-country and trail network within reach). We enjoyed it very much, ideal for relaxing and slowing down, thank you for that.
A well-maintained wooden cabin is situated on a snowy landscape, surrounded by distant mountains. The structure features a sloped roof and large windows, providing scenic views. Snow-covered grounds and a wooden deck extend around the cabin, enhancing the winter scenery.

Panoramic views at Golsfjellet

AndréRating, 5 stars52 months ago
Lovely space and great ski slopes. Golsfjellet was really lovely. The cabin is nicely located with view, with sun every day of the day. Cozy cabin that we would like to use again. Cozy host who was very flexible with checkout etc. recommended.

Lovely Norwegian cabin - Room 4.

John-GregerRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The cabin is perfectly located in relation to the train station, and there are great hiking opportunities right outside the door. In addition, there is a shop and cafe just outside, so easy to buy what you need. It's a good old cabin where it squeaks a bit in the floors and stairs, and it happens that the sheep in the area make some life, but that being said, it's otherwise very peaceful surroundings. The host and the others working with the cabin and the cafè are very nice people and I felt really well received. All necessary equipment for cooking and storage was in place and the room was clean and nice. The price is amazing and I would love to come back several times to explore new hiking opportunities.
