Hiking terrain right outside the door all year, prepared ski slopes a short car ride away in the winter. About an hour drive to Oslo, an hour and a half to Lillehammer. Hadeland Glassverk and Kistefoss a half hour away. Some traffic noise. You choose whether to wash out yourself. Otherwise, the final cleaning costs NOK 800, or if you have pets, NOK 1000. Trains will bring you to Oslo in twenty min. 15 min by car will bring you to the Oslo fjord in Asker.
