In a beautiful old wooden house on a hill, overlooking partly the Oslofjord, you can rent a simple and cozy furnished basement apartment (about 50 m2) with its own entrance. This is in a peaceful residential area, within walking distance to the bus that takes you to Oslo City Center in about 30 minutes. The landlord lives in the same house and shares parking and garden. The house is quiet, so this place is not suitable for parties and noise, but suitable for quiet non-smoking people. A nice starting point for exploring Oslo and its surroundings!

Possibilities for renting bicycles. The residence is close to the ski slope and nice hiking excursions. It only takes 30 minutes to Oslo by bus and train or 10 minutes to Sandvika city center.

Teeming bird life. The cranes have a landing place here on their way to their nesting areas. The medieval "priest road" passes by the property and can be followed through the forest to Sandane which is the beach with a capital B. Sun from midday.

This means it fits better for guests arriving by car or are fairly fit to walk this distance from the bus.
