Apartment vacation rentals in Bury St Edmunds

Theo’s place is located in a very convenient area where we can easily access to supermarkets, restaurants and the Colchester Town station. Check-in was smooth and instructions were clear. Theo was also very responsive to our questions. Spacious living room, dining room and bedroom and well equipped kitchen. Only downside is sometimes the neighbours are a bit noisy at weekend nights. Overall we had a very happy stay, thank you Theo for hosting us :)

Enjoyed staying at Peter's flat, very comfortable. Was working in the area for a few days and it was great to be able to cook and cater for myself rather than eating out all the time. Central location and great for going for walks in the evenings. Added bonus a parking space!

We have stayed at The Cabin 3 times when we visit local friends. The reason we always return is because it's such a peaceful location & the accommodation is both clean & comfortable. The hosts, Dean & Amanda, are lovely, friendly people.

Emma is great and always responds to questions promptly. Lovely place with a convenient car park. Highly recommend it and will definitely stay again next time.

A gem of an appartement in a great location despite the fact that the glorious past of the building is, well... in the past! The appartement is light and well appointed and has fascinating views of the industrial port and the town below.

Me and my partner have just got back from three nights in West mersea, the room was amazing , super comfy and clean , had everything we needed ! The location was perfect close to places to eat and close to the water front ! If you are looking for somewhere to stay in mersea please take a look at this place ! Well worth the money and the host was very lovely and accommodating !

Great few days in the annex. Great location for exploring the area. The annex was clean and very comfortable. Would stay again.

Excellent property. We were a family group of 9, 6 adults and 3 children, aged 12,7,and 1. Accomodation was well suited for this group. Baby gate at the top of the stairs along with travel cot and baby toys. Bedrooms spacious and beds comfortable. Kitchen small, but fine for cooking breakfast, although grilling bacon in the oven under a smoke detector can be noisy at times. Pub downstairs is lovely and although we didn't eat there, the food looked excellent. Situated in a quiet village just outside Bury St.Edmunds, this place would be ideal for exploring the area. Thank you.

Excellent weekend stay at Ruth's place. Nice, quiet location in the countryside, but good amenities within walking distance. Ideal location for visiting Cambridge, Ely etc. Ruth was excellent host. Would book again.

We had a brilliant weekend staying at Duxford Church. The hosts were fantastic - clear and thoughtful with all instructions sent well ahead of our stay, which made everything seamless from the start. They also left us a much needed welcome package, such a lovely touch ☺️. We didn’t need to contact them at all during our stay, as everything was perfectly prepared and in place. Duxford is a quaint little place that we really enjoyed exploring. All in all, a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

Michelle’s home is the best, most beautiful and comfortable Airbnb I’ve been in so far, I wish I had more time to stay there, I didn’t want to leave. The place is absolutely spotless, you feel at home instantly. I highly recommend this home! Worth every penny, perfect for if you’re wanting a place to just escape from life and relax, I would definitely stay at Michelle’s again, thank you for such a wonderful stay

We had a great experience staying at the loft. It’s in a lovely location with a handy play park, pubs and pretty walks within walking distance. We enjoyed exploring the local area. The dishwasher was broken during our stay but James contacted us beforehand to let us know. The homemade brownies were a lovely touch.

Lovely spacious and comfortable property with great views of the river and Sutton Hoo. We really enjoyed the river walks and proximity to Woodbridge.

Very clean, light and airy studio apartment in a great location. Ten minutes walk across the meadow into the centre of Cambridge. Several decent restaurants and a riverside pub in the immediate vicinity - Sala Thong thai was particular good. Apartment was exactly as described and entry/departure instructions were clear. Great to have free private parking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Thorsten’s place. This was our first trip to Cambridge, and the place is just as it was described and had everything we needed. The new updates and decor were pristine. The location is close to restaurants, coffee shops, and more. We enjoyed sitting at the table, drinking coffee with the windows slightly open and feeling the cool breeze. We walked quite a bit and on the few occasions we requested an Uber, they responded fast with a minimal charge. I highly recommend this place and I would love the chance to stay here in the future!

The apartment is in a good location 8 minutes walk from the city centre, very beautiful decoration, the pots leave a little to be desired and the bed is also not very comfortable, but the sofa bed is perfect, a very beautiful apartment.

This space is an ABSOLUTELY GEM of a find! I ended up with a prolonged stay of about 2.5 months and it was a joy to have this space to stay in and work from. The hosts were receptive, proactive, friendly and supportive. I have nothing negative at all to say about my stay and can’t think of anything that would have made my stay more enjoyable. 5 stars easily!
