Loch Ness Hideaways - Silver Birch Chalet

Silver Birch Chalet on our 15 acre croft, is tucked away in the hills 2 miles from the south side of Loch Ness. It has a steep access path & may not suit those with walking difficulties. Walk across our fields, to forest paths, you will rarely meet anyone except for deer. BBQ & outdoor seating. If you like to be very close to pubs, cafes, shops, etc - this place is not for you. If you like seclusion, great scenery & wildlife, & somewhere you can bring the family dog - we hope you'll love it!

Willow hosts 2 people maximum, is on the ground floor with direct access to the front garden via steps. With views of the mountains of Loch Ness., Willow offers an open plan kitchen-dining-lounge, bedroom , bathroom.

Steeped in history the local area offers numerous opportunities to delve into Scotland's past by visiting such sites as Culloden Moor, Clava Cairns and the many castles and brochs.

The Knockie Cottage is a 2-bedroom cottage with bathroom and private access. Enjoy the views of the Highlands (approx 27 miles from Inverness) with its beautiful open countryside and mountains. Just outside you have Loch Knockie that attracts a variety of wildlife and is great for brown trout fly fishing. Enjoy fishing in the private Loch nan Lann. The Cottage is perfectly situated for exploring Loch Ness and enjoy hiking the beautiful hills.

Unlike many Loch Ness cottages, we are not on a road, just the garden between us and the Loch. You’ll love the panoramic views of Loch Ness, the idyllic location, private beaches, and total peace and quiet. 1 or 2 well behaved dogs (small or medium size) welcome. In July and August, Saturday arrivals/departures only.
