Charming gîte "Au fil de l'eau" renovated in Rimbach

Our cottage has been completely refurbished and can accommodate up to 4 people. On the ground floor you will find a beautiful living space with private access to the terrace and garden. The living room consists of a sofa, TV with DVD player. The kitchen is equipped and opens onto the dining area. You will have access to the bathroom (walk-in shower, cabinet with sink). Upstairs there are two bedrooms and an office area. A closed room is accessible in the basement.

The "Barn" is is part of an old "forgeron" or blacksmith's property - it has been lovingly renovated to preserve all of it's original charm whilst providing an idillic setting to discover the Alsace wine route. There are many walks and for the more athletic there is no shortage of mountain bike trails. 30 minutes from Colmar and Mulhouse, 45 minutes from Basel or Fribourg, many varied tourist discoveries (wine route, castles, museums etc...)

Ideally located 25 minutes from Colmar, Mulhouse and Markstein (family ski resort with shuttle to the peaks possible from Guebwiller or Buhl) in a quiet residential area, close to hiking trails (forest and vineyards) and bike paths. Strasbourg is about a 1-hour drive.
