The house and barn were built in 1880 by Norwegian immigrants Ole and Britta.

Newly constructed studio apartment above our garage. Calm, cozy and sunny interior in a quiet neighborhood setting. We have only lived in Fairmont a short time and we love it! It has a "Hallmark" town feel. You may meet our Labradoodle in the backyard - she is very friendly and will want to say Hi. We look forward to hosting you in this city of 5 Lakes! This quiet home in Albert Lea was beautifully decorated and had everything you could need. Erin and Nick were very easy to contact and quick to respond. There is a lovely park on the lake 5 minutes walking from the home. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone passing through Minnesota.

The home was perfect for our one night stay. Comfortable living area and spacious. Two of the beds are queen size so there was a good amount of bed space. It is walking distance to the water and disc golf course (which my family loves). We would stay here again.
