Family-friendly vacation rentals in Buena Vista

Our stay was wonderful. Robert was extremely helpful and responsive. Traveling with our baby the space did get hot during the day as most mountain homes don’t have AC. They brought fans to help cool the space and made our stay much more comfortable. We’d reccomend to everyone and would stay again!

Mark & Nancy were on top of everything before we got to the cabin. From vehicle recommendations to all of the info we needed to get in. The airbnb was stocked with everything we needed along with fun card and board games to keep everyone entertained. One couple on the trip even got engaged at the top of the hill right by the airbnb with the beautiful mountains in the background! 10/10 would recommend.

My husband and I took a quick getaway to Breck after spending time in Denver. This is my third time staying in Breck. Out of all of the Airbnbs that I’ve stayed at in Breck, this has definitely been my favorite. The Airbnb was spacious, clean and had great amenities. My husband and I loved making use of the hot tub, pool, shuttle and pool table. It was off season so a bonus was that it was so quiet. Anyways, we miss it already. Definitely stay with Scott if you are looking for a Breck Airbnb.

Loved staying here!! Host is very attentive and nice. Family Reunion of 10 ppl, never ran out of things to do. Close to hiking & to town (10 min) yet felt quiet and remote. Loved the wildlife & cute fox that must live nearby. Gorgeous views of mountains, ski hill, City lights, stars... Super clean. Kitchen was loaded with every gadget imaginable & super clean appliances with plenty of seating for meals. Lots of games, puzzles, pool table, large hot tub, etc. Living rooms were very spacious with lots of seating so family game nights were fun and comfy. Beds were clean& comfy. Temperature inside was perfect + heated floors in master bath. Never ran out of hot water and never had issues waiting for a bathroom or a shower. Surprising for 10 adults sharing 1 house. Definitely recommend it to anyone who is particular/picky!

I booked this last minute getaway, and the condo was perfect as a base camp from which to do some rides and hikes and enjoy the local coffee shops, restaurants, breweries and sights. The condo is warm and cozy, and the kitchen is fully outfitted with all the stuff you’d need if you wanted to cook in etc. I’d book again if traveling solo or with a +1 for sure!

Exceptional. From the communication to the cleanliness, accuracy, comfort, ease of arrival and departure I cannot say enough good things about this place. Bed and pull out beds are very comfortable with plenty of linens provided, bathrooms are stocked and clean, same with the kitchen. Great views. Location is perfect for a short stroll to town, walking/biking paths and plenty of other fun things to do and great food/coffee/drinks. We would definitely book this place or one of his other places. The unit was quiet and within easy walking distance of downtown Leadville. There are enjoyable hiking trails in the area, including the Mineral Belt Trail which can be reached with a short walk from the unit.

It’s the perfect location on the trail not far from downtown. We walked everyday.

We chose to have a small family gathering with our 3 kids to celebrate my husband's birthday here, it was amazing, this home had alot of charm. I loved the sunroom the view in morning was amazing, the family enjoyed playing pool in evenings. it was nice to get away and enjoy family time. It was so peaceful I would highly recommend staying here.

The natural beauty is INSANE. Olaf was great from start to finish and his and Stephanie's cabin was even better. I'll be returning for sure!

Amazing stay right in the middle of Leadville. Waking up to the smell of coffee downstairs and being able to explore the main street was such a treat. Nick’s place had everything we needed with lots of cozy touches. Would definitely stay again.

My time at Lauren’s condo in Breck was fantastic. Super conveniently located as it’s a 1min walk to Main, but just far enough off where it feels remote, not dealing with noise etc. The personal touches she’s added throughout the space make it very homey and with a super comfy couch and bed, it’s not the worst place in the world to take a day off :). Lauren is a tremendous host, she’s very responsive, has tremendous check-in/out instructions, and genuinely cares about your stay. *Great local knowledge as well I’ll be back!

Incredible location in the heart of Salida. The space was bright, clean, and very comfortable for our family. You should plan to stay here, unless it’s the next time I’m coming back!

Fantastic stay at the Humble Abode! The location was perfect for our group of paddlers - nearby the Arkansas River and ideal for relaxing between runs. We especially loved winding down in the hot tub after a full day on the water!

Beautiful place to stay. Very clean and well maintained. Parking is a little tricky but there is plenty of parking near the house.

Beautiful home in equally beautiful setting! Very tastefully decorated and immaculate. We enjoyed hanging out on the porch overlooking the creek, cooking dinner each night and playing board games at the dining room table.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! Everything was incredibly clean and thoughtfully prepared - the entire place is furnished with high-quality pieces and great attention to detail. You can really feel the care that went into building and designing this beautiful retreat. The view is stunning, the location is peaceful and secluded, yet there are so many things to do in the area - from hiking to exploring nature, and even a beautiful lake nearby. Check-in and check-out were super easy, and the communication was excellent throughout. We would come back in a heartbeat. Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

We absolutely LOVED staying here and it was sad leaving. We truly felt like this was our home away from home. There were some items left in the bathrooms, pantry and refrigerator that were from previous guests (but that didn’t stop me from giving a 5 star review). Other than that, it was fantastic. It was right in the middle of all the things we wanted to do. We even got to see moose in the back of the cabin! Super cool. We will definitely be recommending this place! A lovely chalet just 10 minutes from Monarch. We felt right at home and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hot tub is great after a long day of skiing, and it was nice to cozy up next to the (gas) fireplace at night. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful, and we loved hearing the sound of the creek in the morning. We had a great stay and will definitely be back soon!
