We had an excellent stay, despite the smoke from the Park fire. Karen was very responsive and willing to work with us if we decided the smoke was going to be too much. The house was beautifully decorated and worked perfect for our family of 4. Having a boat slip you could see from the balcony was such a nice touch. The neighbors were all very nice. We will be back!

The house itself was well-appointed; with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed mornings by the lake, soaking in the serene atmosphere. One highlight of our trip was exploring the nearby historical site in Grass Valley, specifically Empire Mine State Park. It offered a fascinating glimpse into the area's rich history, and we loved learning about the Gold Rush era. Great house close to Sugarbowl. Brent was very flexible and helpful. Kitchen was nice, the beds were comfy and the front stairs were heated (so no shoveling!). We hope to be back for another ski trip!

The cabin was amazing. Just outside of town and on a private pond. They have a summer camp across the pond. You hear cheerful kids playing and the serene landscape of the ca foothills. Truly a great place to stay.

I can't say enough about this property or Elizabeth and John. The space is breathtakingly beautiful and such an incredible find. They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We can't wait to come back! MUCH LOVE!

This lakefront cabin is Northern California at its finest! 💚 Completely immersed in nature, it was the perfect place for our family of four to relax. We spend our days on the lake, fishing, kayaking, and swimming … We spend our evenings BBQing on the deck, getting cozy by the fire, watching movies together in the den and stargazing. The house itself is dreamy. Log cabin in the woods, cool retro chic on the inside. Everything is there to make your stay enjoyable. Tv den, Sonos speakers, games and all you need in the kitchen. We didn’t know Nevada city, and discovered a very cool and lively city with many delicious restaurants and lots of culture ! Hiking along the yuba river with all of the flowers in bloom and the dogwood super bloom in town was also a highlight of trip.

This a beautiful and peaceful Airbnb that had everything you could imagine. The curated video game consoles and arcade games as well as the pool were the features we enjoyed the most! This was the perfect place for my laid back 40th birthday party!

This property is a literal slice of heaven. It's so peaceful and magical and feels worlds away when only being a few minutes to town. The house was one of the most comfortable airbnbs we have stayed in – and we have stayed in many! Our whole family enjoyed it. Great for adults, kids and lots of room for your dog run and explore. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Always a great stay. Thanks for turning on the air conditioner before we arrived. Understandably, the spa has a lot of chemicals in it, but as one point the smell made me dizzy. Beautiful water feature!

Communication was quick and consistent. They offered a lot of flexibility with our plans. This is the only wood cabin I have ever seen remodeled successfully! It is modern and comfortable =] The backyard is it's own oasis

Last minute getaway. It was so peaceful, and relaxing. My friends and I spent most of our time in the cabin to make the most out of our stay here. We saw 3 deers in the area, and we checked out downtown, which was close by. The hosts were very kind as well. Overall, comfy and beautiful place.

The cabin was quaint, cozy and brought us back to childhood memories. We enjoyed burning the wood stove in the evenings and watching VHS movies- such a fun touch! We felt super close to Truckee- only 15 mins down the highway, and what a beautiful drive. We ultimately loved our stay and are grateful for these new memories! We will definitely be back!

Just stayed at this beautiful AirBnB cabin—absolutely stunning! The host has amazing taste in decor, and every detail is thoughtfully planned, from cooking equipment to outdoor candles for keeping bugs away. The breathtaking view and cozy outdoor deck made it easy to relax and count the stars. Plus, the host even provides a self-made handbook with local guides and dog-friendly trail information, which was a big plus for us. Truly a perfect stay!

We absolutely loved the space—such a beautiful cabin in the woods! The backyard was especially amazing; we had a great time around the bonfire under the stars. Everything about the place was fantastic, except for the hot water situation. Since we were a large group, the last few people had to take cold showers. Other than that, it was an incredible stay!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Janet’s place. It was peaceful, relaxing, beautiful and comfortable. The home was spotless and well equipped with everything our family of five needed. We cooked many of our meals at the cabin. The location is minutes from Graeagle and is located on the Feather River. There are many places to sit and relax around the property and on the banks of the river. The indoor and outdoor furniture were both comfortable and plentiful (we don’t always find this). We could see the care and intention with everything in and around the cabin. Our family enjoyed the deck in the morning and evening and had wonderful meals and game time at the large dining table. It was a very hot during part of our stay (we stayed for five days) and there were fans in all rooms; the cabin stayed nice and cool. Janet and Kristin were always responsive and helpful. We highly recommend and hope to return soon.

This was just the home we were looking for. Five of us cousins had attended a family gathering at Eagle Lake and had wanted to spend a couple of days at Lassen following the reunion. The location was great and the house was as described. Since we all love to cook, the kitchen was important...it had everything we needed and made food prep fun and easy. The outdoor area was peaceful and relaxing...we all gave the entire experience a thumbs up!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was fun to explore the property. A highlight for us was a couple of hikes and a lake swim at the Lakes Basin area, around 25 min from the property. It is hot in the summer, so be prepared. The Lakes Basin was a bit cooler

The Deer Haven cabin was exactly as the photos showed, except that the living room area was a little dim. We had to have some light on at night when we came downstairs in the morning. The cabin had everything that you needed, and it was nice that they had a package of smores to use for their fire pit. It was perfect to sit and relax in their peaceful backyard, listening to the birds sing. If you want to have a nice retreat, this is the place to go. Ven and Rose were communicative about our questions or concerns we had regarding the cabin. Next time, we will have to visit more attraction areas since there are so many beautiful places to visit.
