We loved the space and it was perfect to go see a show at Beech mountain. Easily walkable to the mountain for the concert.

This by far the best place we have stayed in the last few years. It was beautifully and comfortably decorated. Had everything we needed. Morning came with a symphony of birds and sounds from the cows in the neighboring farm. Nighttime brought a chorus of tree frogs. The beds were comfortable the kitchen stocked and the hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day. Close to fishing and hiking. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.

We did a rather long stay in the cabin for a little over a week and had a wonderful time as a family. Even though we had a ton of rain, we were able to watch through (what an incredible view!!!) the windows and enjoy the day spent together! We loved the location of the cabin as we could get to Boone and Blowing Rock quickly. I highly recommend this cabin for a trip to the area and will be sharing with family and friends!

This little cabin was in a gorgeous location! Right next to the snow tubing and not far from grandfather mountain! The views from the hot tub were amazing! Brought our two dogs and they loved it! The patio with the hot tub was fenced in so the dogs were able to hang with us while we were relaxing in the hot tub! Definitely would recommend and plan to come back!

Even though it was a short stay for us, I can’t say enough positive things about our experience. Simon’s hospitality was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Beautiful location beside the River to enjoy from the front porch. Very pleased with the accommodations. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. Thank you again Simon!

We had a great stay at William's place. it was clean, peaceful and we felt right at home. The grill and hot tub made it a great place to relax, unwind, and cook out after a day out. Would definitely stay again!

The house was exactly as described in the listing. It was perfect for my family of four. We enjoyed the air hockey table and hot tub downstairs. The home was clean and quiet. The location was close to Blowing Rock, Boone, and the parkway. We were able to cook several meals with the kitchen utensils and appliances available. And the gas grill also came in handy. Gail prepared us for arrival and was very friendly and responded quickly to my questions. I highly recommend this home and will hopefully be back in the future!

Only here for one short night, but it was exactly what I needed. The cabin was clean, cozy, and easy to find. Loved the back porch with the rocking chairs overlooking the creek and so peaceful. Super convenient location but still felt like a quiet escape. Would definitely come back for a longer stay!

My husband and I had a great stay! We went for a peaceful time away, and it was exactly that. We relaxed and enjoyed our time away, went to the local shops and ate some great food. We would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay. That porch is EVERYTHING! The property is a way out of town so be prepared. As the description states it is an old schoolhouse with a lot of charm. There is no central air, so at first it seemed stuffy and humid in the home. Maybe it had not been rented in a while? Not sure...We were fine though! The kitchen is stocked very well. The beds were comfortable. We loved getting to speak with Darlene and meeting all the doggies!

My only hesitation in giving as glorified as a review as is deserves is that it'll make this place more booked! I've stayed here multiple times and I love it. It has a couple drawbacks but the things it does have outweigh any negatives. Pros: •Right on the lake. Beautiful views. Big deck with table & chairs. Room to do yoga, dance, hang out in a group. •Has a dock that you can bring your rented pontoon boat to (closest is Fish Springs Marina and their boats are nicer than Lakeshore Marina). You can also swim off of it. Just bring noodles or floats. There's no walk-in. •Bedrooms have good beds. Varying degree of sizes of TVs in them. •Kitchen & living room is open floor. Lovely for group activities and cooking. •Huge grill! •Two lower rooms have lake views. Up king room has a big bathroom with tub. •Management is super amenable. Love love love them. 10 Stars. Cons: •The downstairs can be a very different temp than up. •Bedrooms not supplied with fans. •Steep to lake.

If you were looking for a peaceful retreat with beautiful surroundings and a lovely host this is the place! Katherine was also very gracious with our dog Addie. We had a lovely time.

We absolutely loved our stay at Wendy's place! It was peaceful, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing. We were especially grateful that we could bring our dog, Mollie, along with us—just make sure not to leave your pet alone, and plan ahead as there are plenty of pet-friendly spots nearby. As a bonus, Wendy has a salon downstairs if you need anything during your visit. Highly recommend staying here!

Abril & Christopher's place is a great summer getaway for biking a beech mountain. It's a lovely top floor condo with all the comforts of home!

Very comfortable lots of space very relaxing would love to stay again

I had a great month long early spring stay at this mountainside studio condo with beautiful mountain and valley views. The unit was clean, comfortable, relaxing, and was perfect for my very simple needs. There are many on site and nearby (non-ski season) mountain hiking trails and quiet neighborhood road walking routes. I appreciated having access to the heated indoor pool and fitness room in the community clubhouse. Overall, a wonderful spot for anyone looking to enjoy the mountains!

Kayla’s place was perfect for our stay. We found everything as described and we felt right at home.

This is our second stay at Nicole's place. Five-star accommodations - squeaky clean, super comfortable beds, and we appreciate all the extra amenities (coffee, snacks, spices, etc.). The deck is the perfect place for a morning coffee or evening meal. Can't beat the location as you can walk to town, the outlet mall, and the trails at Cone Manor Park.

What a great place! Also the host was very kind and great communication! Very nice place and only 10 minutes from Sugar Mountain. Wonderful amenities including pool, hot tub, sauna, library, shop, workout room etc etc. Only (potential) issue which is no fault of the owners is that this is a large 10 story condo complex. On busy days, especially around the weekend it can get very busy during check in and check out and you have to park outside of the guard shack and get shuttled back to the condo. Again, we didn’t really have much of a hang up but others did-just something to keep in mind. Fantastic place, and well equipped! Thank you again!

Great home to stay in with family in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Property was very comfortable and clean. We would book again.
