Even though it was a short stay for us, I can’t say enough positive things about our experience. Simon’s hospitality was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. If I was someone on the fence about staying here, I would absolutely stay here! It was beautiful, very clean, well taken care of and very relaxing! It was the best way to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and we will certainly be back! The price was very reasonable for 2 nights in a beautiful relaxing cabin too! We were able to bring our puppy which made it even better! Firefly cabin is a must stay!

This property is exactly as described in the listing. Gorgeous view, comfortable, and easy to settle in to. My kids loved the well stocked toy shelves and hot tub, and my husband and I were able to cook and enjoy the beautiful view on the deck. Heather was incredibly kind, helpful, and gracious in all our interactions. Will definitely book again.

Great place to stay! We loved the location and the view from the back porch was astonishing. We did notice a decent amount of pet hair all over the house, but otherwise the cabin was clean. Hot tub was a great addition and quite relaxing. Amazing location!

This was our second stay at Yeehaw cabin, something we rarely do as we like to visit as many places as possible. The cabin is well appointed and clean. We used the hot tub and the fire pit, visited Boone, Blowing Rock and had a great meal at the nearby Gamekeeper restaurant. Still, my favorite thing to do there is just relax on the deck and enjoy the view.

We had an unexpected family emergency come up and had to cancel the trip only to find out, we actual would be able to make it. Kelly was great about the cancelation and even wonderful to allow us to book again. I don’t know where we’d end up if she wasn’t so gracious and understanding! The place is exactly the peace and serenity we needed. Everything was extremely clean, great instructions, and felt like a home away from home. The drive to Boone was so pretty it didn’t seem like we drove 20min! Thank you both again so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! We will recommend this place to our friends and family 100%!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful retreat while attending our daughter's wedding in Boone. The home is beautifully furnished, cozy, and perfectly located with easy access to both Boone and Blowing Rock. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi and spending time on the spacious outdoor decks — perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The host thought of everything, and the property felt like a true home away from home. We can't wait to come back again!

Wow, this is our second time staying at Kokomo, and it has become our absolute favorite location on Beech Mountain! Breathtaking views, easy spacious parking, no hassle entry and the sound of every bird you can imagine has been music to our ears. The excitement of nature is everywhere! That’s just describing the outside. Inside is so accommodating to everyone’s needs and wants. Big spacious rooms, lots of family fun activities, detached game-room, special treats, and luxurious extras with an amazing hot tub and an incredible sauna. We will continue to make this our first choice Airb&b when we visit the mountains! Most importantly, I do not believe there’s enough nice words in the world to describe how sweet and kind Sophia is hosting this location! She makes sure our experience is spectacular every time! When I arrived at the Airbnb, it was easy to find and locate. The door code was correct and when I went inside and unpacked my belongings, everything was exactly as promised. The bathrooms were pristine. And the Airbnb itself was immaculate. All the amenities promised were there and the scenery was amazing. This was an ideal location for my trip. I was on an annual motorcycle trip, which I typically take to the mountains of Tennessee, West Virginia and Kentucky. Once I got into the Airbnb and got settled, I went outside to move my motorcycle and my motorcycle would not start. That being said, my host was beyond understandable. He was helpful. Extremely helpful actually, without his help I don’t know if I would’ve been able to get my situation resolved. He is a standup guy, honest, friendly, and everything you would want from a host. I ended up having to cut my trip short. Due to my mechanical issues. But I would highly recommend this Airbnb and I for one will certainly be going back-

We had a great time at Buttermilk Acres. The place is beautiful and a lovely get away into nature. The showers were awesome and bathroom was close to the cabin so going outside wasn’t a bother at all (even at 8 months pregnant!)

We have rented homes on Watauga 15+ times and this so far has been our favorite. It’s very obvious how well the home and outside is cared for. The patio, furniture, and dock are all so clean. I have found that a lot of places lack that part. It was so nice to be able to paddleboard and kayak without paying extra. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. I highly recommend this house and plan to return for future visits if it’s available!

My girlfriend and I loved staying here. Cassandra’s place is very private and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed cooking on the grill and building a bonfire. Also, we snuggled and watched a movie and were able to explore around the mountains. I’d highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat!

I had a great stay at Jennifer's place. The cabin is so peaceful and feels very secluded while still being accessible to the restaurants and shopping in Boone. Jennifer was very responsive and helpful with any questions, and there is full binder of suggestions for the area. There were nice little touches for anyone traveling with dogs as well. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin!

Great little get away for you and your animals. Has great views and loved the setup of the home. It was peaceful and definitely would book again!

First time staying in an airBNB, and this place was great! Getting to the spot was a little testy at times, the roads to the cabin are very small and the roads are curvy. Overall the cabin looked exactly like the pictures, very clean! Jared had thought of everything, samples of toothpaste, extra toothbrushes, full size shower bottles, pantry with snacks, board games, etc. it was great staying here with my family and I’d 100% stay at any other property he’d have available. We had a running joke in the house “thanks Jared!” Because we’d just find more amenities he technically didn’t have to offer us! Pls stay here, it was absolutely great!

We loved everything about our stay. The cabin was beautiful as well as the surrounding area. I loved the fire pit area outside. It was the perfect place to read a book and listen to the birds.

This was by far the most beautiful place we have ever been too. The views are of epic proportions the cabin was clean and comfortable. We didnt want to leave. If you are looking for a peaceful quiet getaway there is none better. The location is a good distance from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg or pigeon forge but thats what we were looking for, for our honeymoon. Suba's is excellent dining if looking for a wonderful meal.

Our time spent in this lovely home was perfect and peaceful! Everything was as described and the pictures just don’t do it justice! It was, without a doubt, the cleanest property we have ever stayed in! Communication was easy and quick. Take time to walk around the property and on the nearby trails as outlined by the host, they were just so beautiful and enjoyable. Plan plenty of time for porch sitting, it was just the best! I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful property. It’s good for the soul!

Michael's cabin is adorable. The river is right off the back deck. My husband caught a fish! Michael was extremely prompt at answering questions. my dogs loved playing outside and the Appalachian Trail is within walking distance from the cabin. The local neighborhood dog, Jake was very friendly and came with us on all of our walks. Michael left a bottle of wine, candy, and bottled water for us - much appreciated! The cabin had all we needed and the bed was very comfortable :) We've already recommended the cabin to friends.

This place is very secluded, it’s just as the pictured online. The view from porch is amazing. We definitely recommend this home away from home to everyone.

What an amazing spot!! An incredible place to stay for a weekend getaway and to feel the peace of the outdoors. Definitely a more primitive staying experience, with a separate bathroom and small cabin, but it was exactly what we wanted. Just more of a camping/glamping experience. Definitely recommend!

This place was well maintained, quiet, great location, spacious, and had everything you needed. Would highly recommend even for long-term stays. Very creative and uniquely designed.

Before arriving our host warned us of upcoming winter weather and even offered a refund. We offered to shovel ourselves and get snowed in as it was our only date to travel and they worked with us on arrival time. It snowed for 14 hours straight with 5-8 inches of accumulation. We never lost electricity, were warm, felt safe and protected with beautiful views. The only thing that would have made it better is if the house was all connected/the living room wasn’t locked from both sides (which was disclosed) so going from the kitchen to the master bedroom wasn’t such a production. Also, with no TV in either unit, we had been hopeful to find board games tucked away or some form of alternative entertainment. Such a very small price to pay for the beautiful, private and peaceful scenery though and we would recommend.
