While I was at Heidi and Dieter's place, I felt like I was being taken care of by a family. They He made coffee for me, and Heidi even cooked my food for me, who didn't know how to use the tools! The room was so clean, warm, and comfortable. Each of the furniture and accessories in the house had a beautiful color combination, and it was fun to feel their taste. The place is exactly as described, the neighborhood is very calm and safe and feels like a village (which I actually looked for). The hosts were very good, responsive, and helpful especially with my unusual check-in time! Although we didn't meet in person they always checked on me to ensure I had a good stay and that, I appreciate! would love to come back there on any future trip to Basel and highly recommend if you're looking for a simple cozy place to crash!

What a view! This was such a peaceful home to stay in. It was perfect for our family. We cooked a few dinners at the house and had a few dinners. Our host recommended renting a car as local bus doesn’t always run when you need it. I would recommend renting a car for this location as uber isn’t always available and it’s a hike up the mountain with luggage. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything is absolutely great! Michel and his family are adorable, very welcoming, helpful and caring. It's always nice to share moments over breakfast. The place is great for a few days in Basel. The neighborhood is very peaceful, the tram is easy to find nearby. With a microwave, small fridge and kettle, you have everything you need to be independent. Separate access and private bathroom are the big plus of the accommodation. The space in the residence's private parking lot is also very convenient. You feel at home knowing that Michel and his family are there if there is a problem. We recommend it without hesitation and we will know where to stay for our future stays in Basel!
