The Präg nature adventure farm is located on the edge of the nature reserve. The Hochkopf apartment is in the attic of the farm. With about 120 square meters, it is spacious. For sunny spring, summer and autumn days, a private piece of garden with seating area is at your disposal. Chickens, ducks and cats live on our farm all year round, in summer often also sheep and horses, in the valley Hinterwälder cattle, goats and chamois. Parking, washing machine, Wi-Fi, storage room for bikes/skis are available

In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Schweigmatt is a recreational area for nature lovers in the middle of the Southern Black Forest Biosphere Reserve. Our beautiful forest house stands above the sea of clouds of the Rhine Valley. Start your hikes right outside the door on the Westweg, or mountain bike tour through the Black Forest. Take the S-Bahn (8 min by car) in 30 min to Basel, France is 45 minutes away, Freiburg an hour. The Heidi house is detached and has a separate entrance, so your privacy is guaranteed. The farm is located at the end of a road, with no traffic passing through, and is surrounded by meadows, fruit trees and forest. Our own stream and a small pond with a bench on the property invite you to relax.
