Chic 2-Bed Apt in Prime City Centre Location

ProsenjitRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It was our first stay in Sligo and Lorraine was gracious to let us at her place on a short-notice. The place is well-renovated, squeaky clean and had all amenities that we could need. Single beds meant all travelling members got their own beds which was really nice. The kitchen and bath well stocked. The place itself is next to the shopping-centre and within quick walking distance from local restaurants and convenience stores. Lorraine was also very quick to respond when we had a doubt. There are lot of parking places around and so it was easy to park overnight. Overall a very pleasant experience and hope that we can book the place when we come back again. Thanks!

Historic country house, almost exclusively yours!

Thank you for such an unforgettable stay. For the warm welcome, for sharing your magnificent manor home with us, for the delicious breakfasts, for all the history and local information, for the cosy evenings in front of the fire, for the glorious views from the bedrooms, for the joy of taking the dogs on a long walk through the estate (or maybe they took us). It was all an amazing experience.

House by the Pines - Rosses Point

After Lauren‘s warm welcome, we immediately felt at home in Lauren‘s beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean space. We loved the personal touches and how spacious it was; the outdoor space is a plus! Lauren was so helpful pointing us to amazing local places such as Austies, The Little Cottage Café and Le Fournil in nearby Sligo town. Lots of things to explore in the vicinity. We especially loved Rosses Point beach. It‘s walkable in about 25 mins but if, like us, you are traveling with a toddler and bring tons of stuff to the beach, it‘ll be easier to drive there (only a 3 minute drive). Would definitely recommend this place to friends and stay there again for our next visit to beautiful Sligo! Light sleepers like myself should know the blinds in the bedrooms are not black-out (but the beds are so comfy and cozy I actually still slept well!).

Escape to Honey Bee Cabin (Pets welcome)

Lisa SusanneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We booked the accommodation at the time, even though it was new and had no reviews yet. We were skeptical at first, but everything was just like in the photos! Really a great cottage with lots of lovely bee details. The stove was wonderful and created a great atmosphere. It has everything you need and we were surprised how big the cabin is! We should mention that the bed is relatively small. Certainly no problem as a couple (as long as nobody is taller than 1.80m) but as friends it gets a bit tight. You should be aware of that.

Ein gemütliches Zimmer, genau richtig. Sehr gute Matratze. Kleines, feines Frühstück. Viel Selbstgemachtes. Ruhig, obwohl mehrere Zimmer belegt waren. Und eine sehr herzliche Jill. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder.

Patrick’s kindness started when he was kind enough to pick me up at the bus station. His graciousness continued throughout my stay. Kathleen was away but she left behind some home made bread. All in all a great few days in incomparable Sligo. The highest recommendation.
