This is a charming flint cottage in a gorgeous rural setting. This period detached property offers relaxed, comfortable accommodation with unique character. Perfect for weekend getways or working trips. The property is situated with the grounds of a larger house backing onto meadows with sheep grazing and uninterrupted views of Suffolk countryside. The main living area is open plan with a lovely modern kitchen with table and chairs for eating at. A large leather sofa for relaxing and unwinding looking out onto your own private courtyard. In the bedroom a sumptuous king size bed to snuggle into at night and a delightfully quirky en-suite bathroom await you. The Wash House Studio is secluded in the heart of Orford close to the local shops and restaurants and Pump Street Bakery. We also have off street parking. My place is close to The Broads with a Nature Reserve nearby. We are on the Weavers Way long distance path and Norwich is only 30 mins away, and North Norfolk only 40 mins. The nearby coastline (15 mins) has unspoiled beaches and in winter Grey Seals have their pups. You’ll love my place because of The peaceful location, countryside, wonderful wildlife and dark starlit skies. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

A quiet retreat offering peace and privacy in a detached building within our large garden. Lockable entrance gate with key available on arrival. Wifi access is included which most guests have found perfectly adequate. Breakfast of cereals, bread, milk and (if requested)sausages, bacon, eggs etc provided for you to cook your own at a time to suit you. Although there is not a full kitchen, we have provided a small oven.
