Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Braga

I spent a glorious month at Maria Celeste’s home. It was simply the best place to reset, connect with nature & rest. I’ve never been to a more peaceful home. Freshly squeezed orange juice (from trees) every morning. Lemons for water. A natural spring to swim off hiking grime. Mountains to climb surrounding the entire home. Lizard & butterfly friends. And so so quiet. Maria Celeste picked me up & drove me to the location. Taxi services available to go to town when needed. I can not recommend staying at this home more. If you need some R’n’R, stay. You won’t regret it.

Très bon séjour chez Joaquina! Le logement était parfait et comportait tout ce qu’il fallait pour notre séjour. La terrasse avec table et barbecue est un gros plus. Joaquina a été aux petits soins avec nous en nous remettant les clés tard le soir et en nous accueillant avec des petites sucreries. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter lors de notre prochain séjour.

Vielen lieben Dank, Rita & João! Rechtzeitig zur Ankunft in Porto erhielten wir eine detaillierte Wegbeschreibung zu den Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Wir wurden äußerst freundlich im Anwesen empfangen und erhielten die Schlüssel. Das Anwesen entspricht exakt den Bildern und es mangelte uns, während des Aufenthalts in Ventosa, an nichts. Wir haben die freie Zeit sehr genossen!

excellent stay, only issue was with sleeping as the double bed mattress had plastic wrapping which can be noisy. no washing machine. Definitely would stay again.

Nos ha encantado la casa de Jose Mario. Todo estaba muy limpio y recogido, el barrio muy tranquilo, las camas cómodas, los baños relucientes, muchas luz, poder aparcar en la puerta y cómoda para ver el norte de Portugal. Todo lo que se puede desear cuando alquilas una casa por Airbnb a un precio más que razonable. Simplemente perfecta.

Beim Betreten der Wohnung hat uns Cesars tolle Unterkunft uns die Sprache verschlagen. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Trotz Verspätung von uns hat der Check in super funktioniert - gerne hätten wir César auch persönlich kennengelernt. Die Gegend kann man von dort aus toll zu Fuß erkunden und nahegelegene Nationalparks gut mit dem Auto anfahren. Es war wirklich eine tolle Erfahrung und es gab super leckeres Frühstück - was wir gar nicht erwartet haben, aber eine super Überraschung war. Den Abend konnte man auf dem Balkon ausklingen lassen und auch sonst hatte die Unterkunft jede Menge zu bieten! Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

We spent a week in Apúlia for a family vacation and it was absolutely wonderful! The beach house is located right by the ocean – the view is breathtaking, and the whole place has an amazing atmosphere. The house was very clean, well-equipped, and situated in a peaceful, quiet area away from the center of Apúlia. The host, Luis, welcomed us personally and gave us a tour of the house – a very warm and kind person. There were seven of us, even though the house is meant for six people, but Luis kindly arranged an extra bed for our teenager without any problem. The place has a unique charm – we spent hours on the terrace just watching the ocean, grilling fresh fish we bought in Apúlia, and enjoying the peace and quiet. We highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. We would love to come back! The beaches in the area are absolutely stunning. There’s also the Apulia Surf School in town, which we highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay! The location is beautiful & so peaceful. Close enough to Porto, while providing a nice escape from the busy city. Francisca was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, even extending herself to a few surprises that made our stay extra special. I will miss having breakfast outside with the beautiful view of the valley neighborhood. Hope to have an opportunity to visit again. Would recommend to anyone visiting Portugal!

Ficámos apenas um fim de semana em Braga, numa visita rápida, mas a estadia não podia ter corrido melhor. O alojamento é muito acolhedor, bem equipado e corresponde totalmente às fotografias. Destacamos também a simpatia, disponibilidade e atenção da Carla e do Arlindo, que foram incansáveis. Sentimo-nos muito bem recebidos. Recomendamos vivamente e esperamos voltar numa próxima visita!

Ana was a kind and helpful hostess. Her father met us at the door with the keys, and gave us a tour of the apartment The apartment is just as described, although the beds were a bit too firm for my liking. The setting is perfect. It’s a quick walk to the heart of the city, with tree lined streets, numerous parks and flower gardens. There are also numerous excellent restaurants in the neighborhood.

Jorge was an amazing host. Great communication and very accommodating to our needs. His apartment is spotless. One of the cleanest, modern apartments I've stayed in. It has every possible amenity and Jorge provided us with thoughtful snacks, water and even a bottle of vino verde. Highly recommended. Just a short walk into the historic center of town. Area is quiet and safe. Guimaraes is a wonderful place to visit

Great location, restaurants, shopping and conveniences (grocery stores) all within walking distance. River path also nearby. Comfortable, clean and charming property with an outdoor space. Would stay here again.

Tudo excelente! Apartamento muito bem limpo aquando da chegada e com tudo o que era necessário para se sentir em casa. Moderno e confortável. O espaço exterior era também ele muito bom. O sítio ideal para se passar uns dias em sossego e tranquilidade.

Great place! Spacious and beautiful, great location, clean and the terrace was a nice bonus!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, le logement proposé était totalement en accord avec ce que nous avions vu sur les photos, très propre avec des meubles de bonne qualité, très calme. La maison est magnifique, tres bien entretenue et le jardin superbe (bravo aux propriétaires pour l’entretien!). André et sa femme sont très agréables et plein d’attentions (par exemple nous avons reçu de la menthe et des citrons de leur jardin). Bien que la maison soit habitée par les propriétaires, le jardin privatif du logement et son entrée séparée donne un vrai sentiment d’intimité. L’accès à la piscine est bien appréciable quand il fait chaud. Bien que le logement soit un peu loin des commerces (seulement une boulangerie et pharmacie à proximité), cela est largement compensé par un environnement très calme et reposant pour des vacances ! Nous reviendrons sûrement lors d’un prochain passage dans la région. Merci André pour votre accueil et à bientôt !

There were three of us women friends going to start the Camino Walk. It was the best experience. Philip let us check in early as we had a red eye from Toronto. Paula met us early and helped us check in. The condo is gorgeous. Perfect for us. So clean and do equipped. From the beautiful towels to the plates to the beach chairs. Everyone was wonderful. I couldn't recommend it more. ! Location location!

A Francisca, para além de ser extremamente simpática, é super disponível e ajuda em tudo o que for necessário. Todos os espaços da casa estavam limpos e preparados para nos receber. Gostámos imenso da experiência e, por isso, recomendamos vivamente!

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!

Um verdadeiro refúgio de paz e regeneração! Tive o privilégio de desfrutar de uma estadia absolutamente memorável num local simplesmente maravilhoso. A combinação da natureza envolvente com as comodidades disponíveis — piscina, jacuzzi, sauna — proporcionou momentos únicos de bem-estar e tranquilidade. Foi uma experiência marcada por paz, silêncio e conforto, perfeita para desligar do mundo e renovar energias. Os momentos a dois foram ainda mais especiais graças à atmosfera acolhedora e cuidada deste espaço. Saio com a sensação de ter realmente descansado, corpo e mente. Um lugar que recomendo de coração e onde, sem dúvida, espero voltar.

Mieszkanie bardzo przytulne, czyste i bardzo przestronne. Gospodarz bardzo komunikatywny, szybko odpowiada na wiadomości. Otrzymałyśmy bardzo dokładne wskazówki jak dostać się do apartamentu, co było bardzo pomocne. Lokalizacja kawałek od centrum ale dla nas to nie był problem - zależało nam aby apartament znajdował się blisko uczelni (ok. 10 minut spaceru do universytetu). Zdecydowanie polecam to miejsce!

O apartamento é novo e excelente. O aquecimento funcionou, o que foi muito importante nos últimos dias de Dezembro. O chuveiro é óptimo. Tem uma varanda enorme com boa vista e mobiliário para se disfrutar o exterior. Infelizmente não a pudémos usar, de tanto que choveu nos dias em que visitámos Guimarães. Muito perto do centro histórico da cidade do Castelo e do Paço dos Duques de Bragança. É possível ir a pé para todo o lado. A Magda foi uma excelente anfitrião: fez um check-in 5 estrelas e respondeu sempre de uma forma rápida, clara e simpática às nossas questões. Voltaria de certeza a este apartamento.
