Immaculate, well equipped,spacious single story house with secure parking. Garden room / dining room overlooked spacious patio, garden and heated swimming pool. Beach and restaurants about a mile away at Amorosa. Gabriel provided an excellent welcome pack of wine, milk, bread, butter etc. (and a bag of lemons the following day. ) He responded quickly to any questions and was flexible. We thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay.

I recommend it to those looking to be at peace and quiet with an excellent landscape. Good place to be with friends and family. Avoid bringing sports cars, hard access.

The house is wonderful, large and cozy. The exteriors are simply spectacular, a huge swimming pool with the water at an excellent temperature (not cold), and a huge plot of land on terraces, green and leafy, everything very well maintained. The photos don't do it justice, it's much better. I recommend it without hesitation.

Beautiful modern construction in a rural setting overlooking pastures and the valley below. Multiple and versatile outdoor areas with two patios and pool deck. Very quiet area without traffic noise, yet only a couple minutes from town and all its amenities. Andre is very quickly responsive in all communications.

Wow! We have been to hundreds of airbnbs and this one is up in our favourites. If you're up in northern Portugal I highly recommend booking a few days here to unwind. The property is stunning and so peaceful. We will definitely be staying again if ever back in Portugal.

Maria’s 5-bed villa in is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the love and attention to detail she’s poured into every corner. The villa is immaculately clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with modern comforts throughout. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, making our stay seamless and relaxing. The views are simply breathtaking—perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. It’s clear Maria cares deeply about creating a warm, welcoming space, and it shows. One of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had! The weather was a bit chilly so unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the lovely pool and bbq. But I’m defo coming back to this very place. Obrigado Maria.

We were 2 families staying together and we had ample space in this well appointed sizeable villa in sleepy local village outside of Viana do Castelo, which is a nice town. There are a few local restaurants in the village and a cafe/bar a short walk down by the river. The river wasn't swim-able though. We spent time relaxing by the lovely saltwater pool which isn’t overlooked and is set in the secluded gardens overlooking fields. We felt a car was essential to visit local towns and national parks. The cleaner came mid way through our 2 week stay and changed bedding towels and cleaned throughout, which was a nice bonus. Jose was there to greet us and gave us helpful local advice We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay and would recommend the villa.

We had an amazing stay. The place was perfect for a family vacation. The location was peaceful and the nature surrounding was beautiful. The house was spacious and the pool area was great! We had everything we needed. Totally recommend it! 😊

It was a pleasure to spend a few days in Ralf's place. It's a wonderful house in a unique setting!! We had the bad luck that during all our days it rained a lot but thanks to the comforts of the house we were able to spend it fantastically and enjoy each space. But the best part was certainly not the house, nor was the environment Ana and Ralf who were aware of us at all times. Thank you for that💖💖

The house itself is beautiful and full of many treasures. Fatima has created a very special space. Lots to do in the area. Fatima was very helpful and gave us great recommendations etc. A very positive experience for us.

Fantastic accommodation. Beautiful gardens, pool and house. Marcus is a very good host, and looked after us so well - bringing us little gifts like fresh orange juice just made the experience so much better. One of our children really wanted to keep a huge lemon he’d found in the garden but we told him he would have to ask. Instead of just saying no, or yes, Marcus said “sure, but why don’t we make some lemonade together!”. Just so thoughtful and kind. The house is very well equipped and beautifully furnished. Lots of attention to detail. Pool is very large and everything is perfectly clean. Marcus and Rick really did go out of their way to ensure our stay was successful without ever being intrusive, so please don’t hesitate to book!

excellent property and host

we were a group of 10 people and spent the weekend during the famous Sra D'Agonia festivities. The house is extremely comfortable, the staff very helpful. it was amazing to be so close to the center of Viana to enjoy several events but also have a base where we could enjoy time in the pool, cook, and eat as a group of friends. the piano was a very nice plus. an element of our group plays and it felt so much more intimate to be able to enjoy him playing for us.

Accommodation met expectations and the service was great from Miguel. Immediate response to requests and very friendly host. Highly recommended!

We loved this house and the location and all the effort that was given from Pedro’s team to make us welcome. Thanks for the cake, the HUGE fruit bowl (that we nearly managed to consume), and the sweets, water etc. you thought of everything. The house isn’t in a tourist location but that is its charm, it’s so peaceful with a bar and supermarket in easy reach, perfect. You get some great recommendations , our favourites were Barzin, a ten minute walk, but the best fish restaurant has to be Oburaco in Esposende, the good was amazing. There is also S2 locally, it’s very good. We visited, Braga, Porto, Barcelos(Thursday is huge market day), Esposende. The house is located perfectly and we did not hire cars, instead used Uber or the local taxi company. We were a party of 8 and the house was large enough to allow peace in the garden, whilst others watched TV, or some used the gym, and others used the bikes. Note the bikes are great but there can be a forceful wind to fight!

Beautiful house, very clean and well-equipped. Kids enjoyed the outdoor games and pool. Located in a small town, within walking distance of a bakery and butcher. Small supermarket a 3-minute drive. 30 min from the beaches, 1 hr from Porto, 40 min from Braga / Viana do Castello / etc. Fatima is a thoughtful and very responsive host.

We just spent 15 days in the house, we were hosted very well. The house was very clean. We had room to put our vehicles. The house is beautiful, of a typical architecture of the villages of the north of the Iberian Peninsula, very well preserved and equipped, has all the amenities, even for a dinner with many people. Calm environment, familiar and great for pets. As the house is all walled is safe for even the most restless pets. The pool area is also fenced, good for children. Although we have been there in the winter all the spaces have some kind of heating and many covered. Alexandra is very kind and helpful, willing to help whenever we had a question about how the house works. Thank you very much Alexandra for the excellent stay you have provided us.

My stay at this house was absolutely wonderful. From the moment of my arrival, I felt right at home. The house is spacious, bright and very tastefully decorated. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. The location is perfect for exploring the area, with easy access to restaurants, shops and public transportation. The host was very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and recommending amazing places to visit. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a unique and cozy experience on their trip. I will definitely repeat!
