The property is part of a 3-length courtyard with its own unobstructed and enclosed garden with attached terrace. The home is located in rural surroundings but at the same time close to shopping and Silkeborg city. The home is all the way up the road but has soundproofed windows. But noise from traffic is to be expected- especially during weekdays and during harvest time. It is 2 km to shopping and 7 km to Silkeborg city centre. Everyone is welcome. Cozy guesthouse in the northern city of Ikast. Short walking distance to lake and nature area. Train station and shopping. ISI Sports After School, Dream 99, Ikast Stadome and the Gold Mine. Sports Center Ikast. Tullamore Golf club and more. All within a 1km radius There is bed linen and towel in the house. There is no bath in the guesthouse, but there is the possibility to shower by appointment. We need to know if you want to shower no later than the day before check-in, as we have to turn on the heat.

Experience nature close to Rørbæk lake, at the Jutland ridge, (30 min. walk from the cabin), springs Denmark's two largest rivers, Gudenåen and Skjernåen, with only a few hundred meters distance and runs in different directions towards the sea(10 min. walk from the cabin) In the same place, Hærvejen crosses the river valley. Wake up every day with different birdsong. From Billund airport by bus it is about 2 hours to the cabin We hope you enjoy the area as much as we do!

Quiet and scenic

Relax in this unique and quiet space. We live as the last one on the street and the garden continues into the woods. Walking is available in the woods. You can wake up to the bird whistle and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. You have your own terrace and outdoor furniture. The apartment is in the lower level on one side of the house and we live upstairs and are mostly on the other side of the house. The house is big (300mm2), so we don't disturb each other.

Oldes Cabin

On a hilltop with panoramic views of the entire southwest corner of the Limfjord is Oldes Cabin. The cottage, which dates back to 2021, accommodates up to 6 guests, but with its 47m2 it also appeals to boyfriend trips, friend weekends, and time alone. Price includes electricity. Remember linens and towels. For a fee, it is possible to charge an electric car with Refuel Norwesco charger. We expect the cabin to be left as it is received .
