Vastu Chalet by the Lake

Francis’s home was very private, roomy, and decorated with a lot a sweet touches (fresh lavender in a vase on the table and coconut macaroons). We enjoyed the comfortable beds and lovely kitchen. Having a dryer available after going to a pool was great. I haven’t seen so many stars in the night sky in a long time or had it be such a quiet neighborhood. Our stay at was definitely lovely!

Country Farm House in Southeast Iowa

AngelaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We are so glad we chose to rent the Bentler Farm House- what a beautiful place in the heart of the Iowa countryside! The house was very comfortable and spacious enough for all 10 of us plus our dogs. Very clean and well kept home. The house is conveniently located on a paved road (nice for keeping the gravel dust down) right off of HWY 218 so it was easy to get to anywhere we needed to go. The privacy and outdoor space was great- our dogs loved to be able to run free outdoors and they really get into their roles of being a farm dog for the weekend! We will definitely consider renting this home again when we visit.
The exterior of the restored farmhouse is depicted, showcasing a two-story structure with white siding and a sloped roof. A silver car is parked beside the house, surrounded by landscaped grass and trees. A large willow tree stands nearby, providing additional shade.

Nauvoo Halfling House

MariahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was the most creative and uniquely designed Airbnb we've ever stayed in. I wish we could have stayed for a month! There was so much charm. I literally had all the feels when I walked through (of course with The Lord of the Rings soundtrack playing on my phone). Our family of six plus grandma fit comfortably and had such a sweet experience. I highly recommend this to any fans as well as future fans!

Cabin in the heart of scenic Van Buren County

Tricia ChadRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I would live here! So peaceful & quiet! Being on the back deck is wonderful! Close to the golf course and town. I took a ton of wildlife & nature pictures. My husband fished a lot as well. It is small (but perfect for the two of us), buggy at times, the tv has 6 channels & there's no wifi, but none of this bothered us one bit since we were outside most of the time anyway. We can't wait to return! Thanks for everything!

Off grid treehouse in an ecovillage

DesireeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay at the treehouse. Know what you’re getting into! There is no electricity and there is no running water. We were prepared for this and had no issues at all. We originally booked for a week in March and the weather took a turn, and Arune was great reaching out asking if we would rather come in April. The community is wonderful and inviting. You can engage as little or as much as you would like with those living in the EcoVillage. We really enjoyed the morning coffee and the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about this way of living. Our daughter had an amazing time living a free range childhood for a few days. We had the opportunity to milk and cuddle goats, spend some time at the pond and utilize the outdoor shower. I could see how this might not be for everyone, but it was definitely a great experience for us!!
A spacious outdoor patio area is featured, highlighted by a large wooden picnic table. Stone and wood siding compose the structure, with large glass doors providing access. A well-maintained lawn and a staircase leading to the upper level enhance the scenic environment.
