Adirondack-style treehouse cabin surrounded by a 99,000-acre national forest. The nearby spring-fed creek is a lovely cooling-off spot with miles and miles of pristine sand-bars. This house has two beds. One is across from the wood stove. The second is in the sleeping loft. The loft has an open fourth wall and a queen mattress. It’s a cozy spot and not roomy. The owners of this home are Landscape Architects and you can explore their lovely growing fields, the Palm Garden, and the amphitheater accented by Natchez Crape Myrtle.

Incredible river views and a peaceful environment provides relaxation in this secluded cozy rustic cabin. Unwind and enjoy the cool breeze on the lower level, lounging in the seating area while enjoying a good book in the quiet surroundings. A country road drive leads to a private beach, a few minutes away, that welcomes a fun day of kayaking, tubing, picnicking, shell hunting, cooling off in the cool water or just relaxing and listening to the rippling water.

My place is close to Okissa Lake, Clearsprings Recreational area, city of Natchez, and the Natchez Trace.. it is only 2 1/2 hours from New Orleans, or less than 2 hours from Baton Rouge. You’ll love our place because the property is located in the middle of the Homochitto National Forest. It is secluded and quiet. No plane, train, or automobile noise.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
