This place is a gem! I stayed here for a month while my home was being remodelled. I will definitely go back in the summer. Such a great deal for this amazing location, right by the lake and walking distance to the port and restaurants. Larissa is by far the best host I’ve ever encountered. She was extremely kind and welcoming. Every detail you can imagine was taken care of. She also followed up to make sure I was comfortable. I slept on the murphy bed in the main room which gave me a view of the lake. The mattress was great and the bedroom was comfortable as well. I will recommend this place to my friends and family. I just can’t say enough about how wonderful my stay was.

It was a wonderful cottage with a beautiful beach view. The house was clean and Jennifer is a very good host. Definitely worth going for a staycation with a private beach access.

This was our 4th year staying at the cottage and it didn't disappoint. Larry and Jan are great hosts and we absolutely love visiting, it truly is one of our favorite place we go during the year. It's a great getaway, peaceful and just allows to take in beautiful sunrises and get lost in the views.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage has so much charm and character. Just the escape we needed at the lake.

This was the perfect get away for our family. The private fenced in lot had tons of space for our dog to play. The large mature trees felt like we were deep in the forest but the lake was only a few steps away! The beach was clean and private. The cottage was perfect! We felt right at home, with all the amenities that we needed. Moon was easy to deal with and very helpful. We would definately rent again, and recommend to friends and family!

This was our second year at Carrie and Dan's cottage and once again my family and I had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly situated on the river with a nice beach and it has all of the amenities needed. Dan communicated regularly and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. This is a beautiful property which anyone would have fun at.

Millie's place was a perfect getaway for my husband and I before the arrival of our baby in August. (Very pregnant friendly!) The cottage was incredibly clean, organized, and cute!! The patio was comfortable for lounging and reading. The yard was the perfect size for our pups to run around and enjoy themselves. The view of the lake was breathtaking! Doreen was very accommodating and quick to respond to any messages. I would definitely recommend Millie's Place to anyone wanting to enjoy fresh air, relaxation, and beautiful scenery!

We have stayed hear for a week-long stay for three years in a row now. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. The communication was great, and the location makes it easy to walk anywhere downtown. We really enjoyed the private yard on the riverside, and the easy access to the small parks nearby make it a great place to keep the kids active and entertained!

Sara was an excellent host! She was quick to respond, gave clear instructions and was very understanding of our needs. She had the fire going for us inside which was so nice! I very much appreciated her flexibility with check in and out! The home was beautiful and clean - it had everything we needed and felt like a home which is so nice! Loved the huge dining table for us girls to gather! The beds were a 8.5/10 which is a win. There was not complete privacy and we did feel out in the open at the fire pit - I’m sure summer is even busier! The sunset was stunning - the stairs to the beach were intense - great exercise but be prepared. Neighbour’s were friendly. I’d say the only negative (which isn’t really negative), was the living room furniture., it was somewhat uncomfortable because it has been used. A plus was being so close to Grand Bend for all your needs! Thanks Sara - we hope to return!

We had a great time at Anita’s place. It is always so clean and had everything we needed. The kids had a blast playing at the beach, even on colder days, and enjoyed all of beach toys and ample room on the lawn and deck to move and play. Thanks very much for a great stay!

STUNNING! This home is unbelievably gorgeous, and the location is perfect. Close to town, but lovely and quiet, right on the water. Excellent beach for lounging and swimming, perfect deck and patio chairs for star gazing. This is the definition of peace and tranquility. Interior of the house is pristine and has everything you might need, an excellent place to relax.

The pictures made it seem bigger than it actually was but overall, it was a very cute and peaceful place to stay. They gave recommendations for places to eat, shop, and get coffee along with providing the necessities for living while there. The layout is wonderful for a little vacation to just get away from the noise. We were given a lot of privacy while still feeling like we could ask for anything we needed. When we had questions all I needed to do was ask and I got a response within 5 minutes on two different occasions. Very pretty and well taken care of. I would definitely reccomend it to anyone looking to get away for a while.

Our short stay at Corina’s was lovely. A short walk from the local public beach and a lovely neighborhood. Exactly what we were looking for! Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic experience at Coralie's Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. We especially loved the cozy living space and well-equipped kitchen, which made it feel like a home away from home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay. We'll definitely be back!

My family and I had a great stay at this location! The house was immaculate and spacious as described in the listing. They had a reference book nicely prepared with local recommendations and rules well written. The kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked with everything needed. There was also a gas grill and extra propane provided with lots of outdoor seating. We had a great time walking the beach and relaxing. A highlight was watching the freighters and boats pass by (which the owners had left binoculars for). We ventured up to the fishing dock in town to see the light house (great beach available there for swimming), farmers market in Port Austin was a short half hour drive, and Pointe aux Barques Maritime Museum and lighthouse. Many small town ice cream shops in the area as well. We would love a return trip to relax and would definitely recommend this listing for a low key relaxing vacation.

Amberley Beach Oasis is picture perfect. The beach is amazing and there is a great view of the lake from the deck. Nicole supplies many items ranging from kayak to board games. The house amenities are plentiful. There are great nearby restaurants, events and shopping. We would stay there anytime.

I had such a lovely stay at this place! The space was exactly as described clean, cozy, and well taken care of. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. You can really tell how much thought and care goes into hosting. This home, location, and town are all so beautiful and quaint. The beach is wonderful, the house had everything we needed, and the Alli Bar is such a fun place to grab a drink. Chuck and Dawn are super responsive and kind. We'll definitely try to book this home again!

Paradise found with this Lake Huron retreat. Lorraine is a superb host. Upstairs master bedroom with en-suite bath and closet is spacious and can easily sleep a family of 5. Sunsets are incredible over the water. So much space to relax and unwind inside and out. Games room in garage was a great bonus for kids and adults to enjoy. Would highly recommend property and host!!

Excellent stay for beautiful sunsets and stargazing. The place felt very private, calm, and peaceful. The sunset views are the best part during our stay. Plenty of activities to do and it's close to Bayfield for quick errands. Our host, Jacob, is very responsive and communicative. Will definitely recommend.

It was comfy, clean, kitchen & bathroom were fully stocked. Kelly made sure everything was perfect! Even left s’mores stuff. We’ve stayed a lot of places on Lake Huron between AuGres & Harrisville and thought we would try a different part this year. The kids loved all the big water toys, so that was what drew us. We missed 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, and seeing the kids on the beach. The house sat up high and you had to walk to the edge to see shoreline or take the stairs. We were glad we did a shorter stay because there wasn’t a whole lot to do after the museums and lighthouse in Port Huron. But Kelly had corn hole and lots of comfy outdoor chairs for reading. All in all it was a great place / super clean, didn’t care for all 3 outdoor cameras. We understood the one that looked out to the driveway/fire pit/main entrance. But one we could see from inside on the couch and also from the small table area / that whole side is doors & glass windows with no shades.

Great place to stay! LOVED the sunrise on Lake Huron! The lake looked like the ocean with all of its beautiful colors. Sandy beach was a blast for the kids. Great rock collecting and sea glass too. The house was so modern, clean and fit our two families of four just fine. Downtown Lexington is super cute and we had fun browsing the shops and eating ice cream at Scoops Ahoy :) Greatest swimming of my husband's life he said. We had a wonderful time.

This place was an amazing place to stay. Me and my friends had an amazing peaceful getaway the scenery and view of the lake was absolutely stunning. The hot tub was also a great time it was a very cozy place and I would recommend it 10/10.
