Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Bloomington

Amazing, beautiful place. Absolutely loved the space provided ESPECIALLY the game room! Will be coming back for sure!

We came for my son’s IU graduation and we had a great time. This is the BUSIEST weekend in Bloomington so all reservations are done at least 12 months in advance and every place is overpriced including rentals, hotels, restaurants, etc and you are happy if you can get a vacancy. We booked several months in advance. It was very easy to communicate with Joseph, he is very friendly and responsive. My daughter arrived a bit earlier and checked in the house. She texted me that there was dog hair on the floor and furniture. Since the place is pet friendly, i expected that this might be an issue. Joseph was very resourceful and responsive, he asked someone to come by and clean the floors the same evening. While it was not perfect, I appreciated Joseph’s willingness to fix the issue and resolve it right away.

Very nice home away from home. Very welcoming. Smelled nice and very clean. The appliances were very nice. We loved Joe’s place. The outside was very calming with the hot tub area very private. The patio propane fire pit was very useful as the temperature was under 60 every day of our stay. Our Golden Doodle loved the huge backyard.

5 stars!! We had an amazing weekend at The Nancy. The house was perfectly curated to fit its mid-century modern design and had so many fun and personal touches. We were impressed with how much Brooke had available in this home: comfortable beds, extra blankets and towels, basic toiletries (LOVED that these were themed specific to “The Nancy”), a fully stocked coffee/tea station, logs for the fireplaces, s‘mores fixings, cornhole boards, games, the ping pong table, and more. Not to mention the newly added hot tub, which was a fantastic place to hang out at the end of the day. Brooke was the best host! Brooke was proactive and clear in her communication and continued to check in during our stay. She was always quick to respond and eager to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. I would absolutely recommend this property and host to anyone staying in Bloomington.

Great place to stay for graduation weekend at IU. The pictures of this home don’t do the place justice! We all thought this place was gorgeous and super clean. The location was peaceful and a 20 minute drive to campus. The bedrooms are large and beautifully decorated, the only thing missing is full sized mirrors. Would definitely stay here again!!

Libby is a great communicator and hostess. The house was exactly as described. The snacks and unexpected breakfast items were perfect! The bed had great cotton linens and the bathrooms had great towels. The house was exceptionally clean! The hot tub was clean and hot, very relaxing just listening to the birds. We so enjoyed our three days here. Thank you for sharing your home with us. The sunset was unforgettable. We also enjoyed the Porthole restaurant next door. Great pizza and a fabulous tenderloin sandwich. If you are looking for a place in the Lake Lemon area look no further. This is the place!

We had the pleasure of staying here for our wedding weekend and it was gorgeous! Our photographer even said her job was 10x easier with all the natural light and beauty. Bryant was super responsive and left all sorts of cozy amenities, making it an extra special weekend. Hope to come back soon!

Great location. A few blocks from the Square. We were able to walk down to all of the restaurants and to the Sample Gates with ease. Nice grassy area in the backyard for the doggies to run around in. 3 bedrooms, 1 large full bath with plenty of hot water, cozy living with big screen TV that was already logged into Netflix and Hulu. Snacks, coffee, and bottled water were also provided. Plenty of towels available. Fully stocked kitchen with plates, cups, silverware, cooking essentials, spices, etc. Dishwasher, microwave, and full size refrigerator were also convenient. We really enjoyed staying here and would stay here again. Tip for future renters: there is parking available in the back of the house, but it has to be accessed through the alley. Not a big deal, but helpful to know. There is a drawing included in the listing that shows how to access the backyard. Was more convenient for us than parking on the street while carrying in luggage and unloading our pups. 5 Stars!

Awesome place to stay ! Large and very comfortable with modern conveniences inside a beautiful old home. Very walkable to shops and restaurants and short drive to the state park. Owners were great communicators and made entry and exit very easy.

Kara’s place was beautiful and spotless. Walkable to all of downtown Nashville. We had a peaceful and fun stay. Would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was amazing! Kara did a great job of having everything super well stocked, all the amenities you could think of. We experienced a city wide power outage the weekend we were there and she did everything in her power to help us navigate that. Brought us a generator to save our food and charge devices. She even had flashlights and lanterns stocked in the house. One of the best AirBnb’s I’ve stayed in and will definitely be back. Kara was extremely responsive and so helpful!

The place was beautiful and very quiet we only spent one night there but it was well worth the trip only a few minutes from downtown Brown County..

I cannot say how thankful I was to find this place while looking for the perfect eclipse viewing spot. The host was very helpful as I was trying to time the weather and ability to move around, if needed. Her place was amazing - remote, beautiful and spacious, with stylish decor and so clean! As I was driving in, later than I had planned, she gave me a video of how to get inside which worked perfectly. I got inside and stopped and realized the space was exactly as pictured. Clean and quiet, peaceful, this was going to be THE spot for viewing the event of a lifetime. The host family was generous with suggestions on where to go in town, how to interact with the animals, snacks and beverages (which saved me on my late arrival) and access to wander the property and time to relax. They allowed me to view the eclispe is a private back pasture which was a stunning backdrop for the eclipse Everything was absolutely perfect and I would love to visit again! Thank you for an amazing experience. ♥

Her studio was great. Well equipped and clean with a short drive into town. She was very accommodating and responsive and would absolutely recommend her beautiful property.

My friends and I were in town for a wedding at The Wilds. Very convenient for getting to the wedding venue and to and from downtown Bloomington. If I’m ever back in Bloomington with a large group I would definitely book Nancy’s place again.

So friendly and helpful even when we had a family emergency. The location is gorgeous!

We had the most incredible weekend at Garrett & Ewa’s place! They communicated so well with us before hand when planning my sister’s wedding celebration! Everyone loved the space. It was all as pictured and even better than expected!

We've been here several times now and it's our favorite hidden gem! Quick 15-minute drive to downtown Nashville and all the shops. Can stay at the home all day grilling out, playing games, enjoying the hot tub, and the kids will not want to leave the amazing outdoor swing!

THIS BEAUTIFUL CABIN WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT AND AMAZING!!! I WOULD LIVE THERE IF I COULD LOL THE BED UPSTAIRS WAS PERFECT!!! The shower is amazing!! Washer n dryer r perfect too!!! It was in the best place ever out there in the woods !!! We absolutely wanna go back sometime soon!! Thank you so much for allowing us the time of night it was lol we appreciate you!!!

This was our first Airbnb experience. We live about an hour away, yet this cabin feels like it is in Tennessee or somewhere much further. The cabin sits back on a lane, in a perfect location. We experienced rain during our stay, however brown county state park and downtown Nashville are a short drive away. Perfect for beautiful days. Luke was extremely responsive with any questions that I had, and allowed us to check in early. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful, clean, and quaint cabin. Your surrounding view is beautiful especially with the extra large covered porch with fans! Screen to the cabin is great to hear nature. We will definitely rent this place again. Starr was responsive and helpful. Go to Bruster’s ice cream- about a 17 minute drive from the cabin!

This was our 2nd visit to Simple Blessings. We absolutely love it. Great way to spend my Birthday. Brian always checks in. So helpful. Love the sweet note , bread and Book. Will be back for sure.

The house and location were exactly as described. It was clean, homey, and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful, secluded, peaceful place to unwind with the family!! The six of us had plenty of space to hangout inside and out. House was clean. Fishing was fine for the younger kids -lots of bluegill, a few bullheads & smaller bass. No cell service but WiFi worked really well.
