Monthly Rentals in Blockley

Deer View cottage is was absolutely gorgeous! It’s a traditional cottage, so the stairs are steep & takes some getting used too, however do not let this put you off. There is a secure garden for the dogs, however a public walkway right across the road through a wooded area & fields which lead to the village green & cafe! Perfect for a morning coffee. The cottage was extremely clean with everything in place ie towels, hand soap, tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets & toilet rolls (including spares). Bathroom & separate shower was perfect when sharing with family or couples. Definitely recommend Deer View cottage, it catered for all our needs including our dogs & the surprise views in the back garden was totally unexpected! Hosts were perfect!

What a pleasure to stay at Clare’s place. Located in a small village it was a great place to relax and explore the surrounding area. The cottage had everything we required and all in good condition. Clare was helpful with anything we needed and gave recommendations for places to visit and see locally. Thank you Clare for making our stay memorable.

Beautiful stay with everything we needed. The stone cottage was charming inside and out. Big enough for 4 adults to stay comfortably.

So firstly, I’ve taken myself to the wonderful Blockley cafe to do some writing and to get straight on this review as didn’t want to forget anything. Firstly Jill was incredibly helpful with advice on the local area and quick with responses so it made things feel smooth and reassuring. Secondly, Blockley is so wonderful as are the surrounding villages. I’ve always had a car when visiting the Cotswolds but didn’t this time but I still managed to walk to the wonderful Snowshill and Broadway and was never short of beautiful places to visit. Finally, Glebe Cottage. The attention to detail to bring comfort to the stay and the care taken creating a magical space in keeping with the history of the building was wonderful. Not to mention the insanely comfortable mattress (not always easy to find in Air BnBs) the big bath, the little sweet treats left for my arrival, the patio with a relaxing water feature, all the games and books and information on the local area…I loved it all!Will be back
