House vacation rentals in Blockley

We spent 6 days at Rob’s place with our 3 children. The weather was not our friend but the onsite swimming pool meant we still had a fabulous time. The hot tub was a great addition to the property. The cottage had plenty of room for us all & the spa facilities were fantastic. Great location as well, we had a lovely morning wandering around Cirencester. Rob was super helpful. We used 2 of the recommended places to eat & both were fantastic options. Lovely stay!

This place was spacious, modern, clean, and very well equipped for 5 adults and several babies requiring high chairs and plastic spoons and beakers. Lots of cutlery and crockery too - no washing up before you could sit down to thd next meal, which I've known in other place. There was a huge fridge and a big freezer; the appliances were clean, new and easy to use. Lovely linen and comfy beds. Nicola was speedy in her responses and allowed us an earlier check-in and later check out which was massively helpful we had a lovely stay and would certainly consider returning. Thank you Nicola

We had a great stay at the barn, celebrating a big birthday. There were 6 adults staying and we were all extremely comfortable. Mike and Joan were very hospitable, generous and responsive. The barn is as fabulous as the photos suggest. The views are amazing. The pool is wonderful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We very much hope to return.

Beautiful property with a mixture of originality of the building and new style amenities. The kitchen is a beautiful place to be (caution of the heat from the constant aga heat) and the heated pool is an amazing extra to have. It is incredibly peaceful and private, excellent to host familes and friends gatherings, you shouldn't be bored here

Lovely stay in the Cotswolds at this cool house by a lake. Fun stuff to do locally even in a rainy Feb half term. Kids felt safe and really enjoyed it. Special mention to Suus our host who was so helpful and super responsive. Recommended!

Ian's place was a perfect spot for our group while attending a local wedding. Very cute and charming, full of all the amenities needed, and a lovely welcome basket was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend booking Ian's place to anybody interested.

Such a lovely place. Sadly, I only had a couple of nights and one day to really enjoy it, but I immediately looked to re-book upon departing, and although the dates I looked at did not work, I will definitely return. Joe was really friendly and helpful. The house is lovely, well-designed and thought through with plenty of space. The weather was a bit damp, but otherwise we would have also thoroughly enjoyed the lovely garden with its seated areas and hot tub. Many thanks for a lovely break

We all absolutely loved this house. It was roomy, bedrooms and bathrooms great, kitchen well equipped and very clean. The location was fantastic and there were lots of lovely walks. We spoke definitely stay here again and would recommend the property. StayCotswold were very informative and gave lots of tips and places to visit. Great work.

Most beautiful place to stay in the Cotswolds! From the most amazing furniture and light fixtures to the quietest place we’ve stayed in yet . Everything was perfect !We would absolutely come back and would highly recommend this area and this unit! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

The barn was just like the pictures and very clean which was perfect as we was travelling with a baby. It’s very peaceful with lovely views from the garden and would definitely recommend. If you are travelling with dogs just note there is not direct access to the garden from inside the property as it is accessed through a gate round the front of barn.

The setting next to the stream and the home itself were wonderful. We loved it and it was perfect for our family of 6. We spent a lot of time reading and relaxing by the stream. Blockley is a delightful town and we enjoyed exploring it and walking the areas around it. We would stay here again! Two things to note: the washer isn’t really operable which was a bummer since we were counting on it. After unplugging it and plugging it back in a few times it did start but none of the lights worked so we weren’t sure what setting it was on. It also didn’t spin at the end so we had to wring out the clothes in the sink. Not a problem if you aren’t counting on it, disappointing if you are. The second thing is that there were six of us and the hot water ran out after two showers. We had to wait an hour+ to finish our showers. Maybe just take quick ones or plan to spread them out. Other than these two things we loved our stay at Badger’s Den!

Fantastic stay in the heart of the Cotswolds. Lots of lovely walks, pubs and villages within easy access. The property was fantastic, we couldn’t haven’t wanted anything more.

Beautiful stay with everything we needed. The stone cottage was charming inside and out. Big enough for 4 adults to stay comfortably.

Lovely place. My mom and I used it as a home base for exploring the Cotswolds without a car for 5 nights. The home is very well appointed and beds and linens are very comfortable. The outdoor furniture could use an update or at least some cushions, but it sounds like that’s in the works. Location is great, just a short walk from the train station and steps to the buses. Lots of amenities in Moreton-on-Marsh and plenty of pleasant walking paths nearby. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic stay at Victory Cottage. This was our first time to the Cotswolds and we absolutely would return to this wonderful cottage. The city of Cirencester was perfect and the walk into town each day was wonderful. You are only 7 min walk from great restaurants, shops and pubs and the town itself had several things going on when we were there. We visited neighboring villages that were all in driving distance and easy to get too. The cottage was also very accessible in Cirencester, getting in and out of the village was easy! Design and functionality in the cottage was top notch! Highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning cottage, in a peaceful countryside village. The house felt like a home, with decor and ample utensils. The garden area blew us all away - beautifully designed, large, and in top condition. William was a fantastic host, always responsive and there to answer any questions. There were a couple of small things, but this is a new Airbnb listing so hopefully will be rectified: - the oven is an expensive AGA, and takes 6 hours to turn on. Would recommend asking your guests if they want this on for when they arrive. Although a quick, 'portable' electric hob at the house saved the day - there was no kitchen roll, foil, clingfilm, or scowling pad which wouldve been nice - dishwasher tablets should definitely be there - the road was easy to find, but maybe instructions on where it is would be helpful as it didnt come up on Google maps These are very, very small things, to what was an unreal stay at a stunning accommodation. Would highly recommend - we will be returning!

It felt like home from home. Beautifully decorated and presented, spotlessly clean, everything thought of, fantastically clear instructions, fabulous and friendly host and a really comfortable and elegant place to stay. Can highly recommend this cottage in a great location.

Samsons Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. We slept in a comfortable king sized bed. We had a great shower (two actually) with plenty of hot water and good pressure. It has a well provisioned kitchen and a washing machine. There’s no clothes dryer, but a drying rack is provided. It’s quiet and waking distance to everything in town. So many places to shop and eat. It was a little rainy so we didn’t get to enjoy the back yard as much as we hoped. But it is truly lovely. I love the town. It provides a true Cotswolds experience. It’s close to so many sites and activities. We will definitely return.

The cottage was outstanding. It was beautifully decorated and cozy to stay in. The kitchen was easy to cook in, especially with a food market nearly next door. The town was beautiful and peaceful with quick drives to other top Cotswolds spots. Highly recommend.
