Monthly Rentals in Blackhall Colliery

Choose a couple of nights here rather than a holiday inn for a base to visit relatives. Absolutely loved the caravan and the sea views! Really felt like a guest of the hosts who were so hospitable. Highly recommend it.

Recently stayed here and had such a lovely time. My mom flew over from Spain and myself, husband and toddler drove up to meet her (we live in the midlands) we were here visiting family. Lyns place was ideal. The location was fab, only 6 min drive to see my nanna. It’s a short walk to the beach (direct access) and the caravan itself was lovely. So clean and well looked after. Lyn had even put things in there for my toddler to play with - and a small chair for her to have her food. We couldn’t have asked for a lovelier place. Lyn was so responsive and easy to connect with. The caravan is located directly across from the entertainment hall which was brilliant for my toddler (she loved the slot machines) and there’s a restaurant too. It was very loud at night (Friday and Saturday until midnight) but we just used ear plugs and was fine!! Would deffo recommend this caravan and we will be staying here again I’m sure. Thank you xx

A great little place for a quick stop or as a base to explore the local area. It had everything we needed and the host was friendly and attentive.

We had a great time here at Sootybabe, It was exactly as pictured with easy entry and access. Clean and comfortable with all that's needed for a place between exploring. Blackhall Colliery had an awesome beach just 10 mins walk away and we enjoyed our time in the Hartlepool area. Durham was picturesque and the cathedral was spectacular and a true architectural marvel. Good food and beach in Sunderland. Could've spent several more days just exploring Newcastle very friendly and lively. Bamburgh Castle was magnificent and is a must visit for all those interested in British history and the Last Kingdom TV Series Exhibition is awesome for anyone who is a fan.
