The house, so close to town and so quiet at the same time, is between Morningside (Waitrose, The Merlin, The Canny man, Dominion Cinema), the Meadows, and Edinburgh University Kings buildings. The morning light by the breakfast table is something we are not tiring of. Comfy beds and no traffic ensure good nights. Nice quiet room in central flat

This is a lovely quiet, cosy wee room with a decent sized single brass bed and a nice view over the back gardens. There is a shared bathroom, which I keep as clean as can and a kitchen you are welcome to use if you want to cook or have a cup of tea. The flat is in a quiet residential stair. If you are arriving after 9.00 pm, or leaving very early in the morning, please contact me before booking.

Lorene was fantastic at communicating before and throughout the stay. We felt very welcomed into their beautiful home and the space was very clean and provided all we needed. The house has excellent bus services from the city center which was fantastic as meant we could get a good night sleep whilst visiting for Edinburgh fringe festival.

Truly lovely people, we immediately felt at home in his house, the cat was cute and they have an deliveroo business with delicious onigiri that i highly recommend. Truly the taste of japanese onigiri. If we were to come back we would choose this place again.

The house is on a lovely, quiet street, and it was so easy to get around – just a 3-minute walk to the bus stop, and then a quick ride right to the city center. The inside is absolutely beautiful and decorated with taste. I especially loved the backyard and the wonderful kitchen. My room is cozy and comfortable, though not very large, I slept perfectly every night. Laura and Anton are so warm and welcoming, always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. They even let me leave my luggage with them for three days while I was on a trip to the Highlands, which I am incredibly grateful for. They made me feel completely at home :) I also really appreciated Laura's walking route recommendations for exploring Edinburgh. Following her tips, I got to see so many of the main sights. It truly is a magical, medieval city! Really enjoyed the stay Thank you, Laura and Anton, for a wonderfu

I really enjoyed meeting Mairi and staying with her family in their home. She was very friendly and helpful, even letting me borrow a flask to take my pre-made lunch out on a day trip. The location was beautiful and private yet also very close to a bus stop with several buses that went into town. I appreciated being able to use the kitchen and laundry facilities as well. This was a great place and a lovely stay.

I've had a lovely stay at Andy's. He is nice and respectful, happy to chat when you want, happy to leave you to yourself if you prefer. Locationwise it was ideally situated for getting to the city centre in about 30 min. Supermarket nearby at 15 min walking distance. Room is sunny and spacious, plenty of closet space. Bed was soft for my back and had plenty of cushions. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay. Andy is a great host, and I will defenitely book with him again if there is availability.
