We are available if you need us but we will leave you to enjoy Watling House in peace! The house sits in the quiet village of Bridge, around three miles from historic Canterbury. The village is a great base for country walks in the Kent Downs, with plenty of local pubs for pit stops, or visits into Canterbury for its vibrant nightlife. Bus Services to Canterbury, Dover and the surrounding villages. Train service from Canterbury to London, Dover and Whitstable. Why visit Watling House... - Fantastic walks in an area of outstanding natural beauty - Lots of local amenities on your doorstep - three village pubs, local shop, butchers and a frequent bus service into Canterbury (approx 10 mins). - Close to the historic cathedral city of Canterbury. Visit the Cathedral, Canterbury Tales and the historic city walls. - You can nip up to London on the UK's first highspeed service from Canterbury West (approx 55 mins) or a day trip to France (approx 20 mins from the Port of Dover and the Channel Crossing). We haven't been able to list all of the great things to do in the area but can always tell you more... we would recommend a trip to one of the local Kentish vineyards for some famous English Fizz!

We enjoyed our break at Lynseys place. A peaceful location near to Canterbury. There are lots of great countryside walks from the door. The accommodation was clean & uncluttered with a well equipped kitchen & comfy bed. lovely sitting out area overlooking the vineyard Lynsey was a very welcoming and Responsive host.

We had a lovely long weekend in Rachel and Tom's home. We arrived early and they went out of their way to make sure the driveway was clear and allowed us to drop off our luggage before we headed into Canterbury, which was much appreciated. The house is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the garden is just beautiful to sit in.

David is a wonderful host. Super friendly, great recommendations and overall a really nice man. The Studio was perfect. Immaculate, spotless and everything we needed. The bed was so comfy and the shower was great. The style of the studio is lovely- the old beams mixed with the new modern facilities made it stand out. Overall we would have given more stars if we could! Very sad to leave but cannot rate David's property highly enough Thank you x

We stayed at Joe's house for a family birthday with guests ranging from 4 to 80 and we all loved it. The house is perfectly set up for hosting many people, with a fully equipped kitchen and large bedrooms. The garden is just spectacular. Joe was very comumunicative and helped a lot with our questions. We would definately recommend this stay.

An airy conservatory welcomes visitors with large glass panes allowing natural light to fill the space. Green walls complement wooden dining furniture and decorative elements. Double doors open to a pathway lined with greenery, extending towards a charming outdoor garden.
