The village is a great base for country walks in the Kent Downs, with plenty of local pubs for pit stops, or visits into Canterbury for its vibrant nightlife. Bus Services to Canterbury, Dover and the surrounding villages. Train service from Canterbury to London, Dover and Whitstable. Why visit Watling House... - Fantastic walks in an area of outstanding natural beauty - Lots of local amenities on your doorstep - three village pubs, local shop, butchers and a frequent bus service into Canterbury (approx 10 mins). - Close to the historic cathedral city of Canterbury. Visit the Cathedral, Canterbury Tales and the historic city walls. - You can nip up to London on the UK's first highspeed service from Canterbury West (approx 55 mins) or a day trip to France (approx 20 mins from the Port of Dover and the Channel Crossing). We haven't been able to list all of the great things to do in the area but can always tell you more... we would recommend a trip to one of the local Kentish vineyards for some famous English Fizz!

Hut in the Vines - all-inclusive!

Hunker down for a unique rural getaway experience at Hut in the Vines. Discreetly nestled at the back end of or tiny vineyard, which is now in its 5th year of production, and very private. Our home is 70 metres away but your space is private with a view down the vineyard. Outside, there is a traditional, wood-burning hot tub, covered eating area with bbq and wood-fired, table-top pizza oven and an electric wall heater…all lit with festoon lighting. The Studio beside The Barn Sweech Farm

Why not enjoy this historic place in a picturesque setting. The Studio is a 500-year old grain store, now converted into a studio annex. Situated at Sweech Farm in Broad Oak, The Studio is completely self-contained with a key safe for self-check in. It has a King-size bed, sofa, 32 inch tv with Netflix, hairdryer, small Kitchen with fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee and tea making facilities, a breakfast area and en-suite shower room. There is a designated parking space, behind electric gates.
