Vacation rentals with a patio in Bird Rock, San Diego

We loved staying here! Our only critique is that there were only 2 pillows in the bed but aside from that everything was perfect! The patio is so nice and it’s such a great walk to the beach and bay!

It was a great cozy stay. I give it a 10 out of 10. The location is perfect. You are one block away from the beach check-in and check out with simple. They had a lot of beach accessories available for use such as bikes, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach, chairs, beach towels, and even a cart to bring all these things with you. You have your own private parking spot. The host did a daily check-in to make sure your stay was going great. We had such a great time. I will definitely be renting again and will refer anyone. I know that is going out to Mission Beach.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early on short notice. The location was just a short walk to beach and close to a few food spots and a grocery store . The place was incredibly clean and well-maintained. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a spot in and around La Jolla.

This wonderful find was amazing!! Beautiful decor, not cluttered, very clean and everything had a place and easy to find. They made sure that if you forgot something, they had it there for you! Richard literally thought of everything, we were amazed!! Very cozy outside with a lovely fireplace to sit around and beds to sit in the sun 😎 If you stumble across this place, you will not be disappointed ! The location was perfect for our weekend. We met Ian right as we got there an he made sure we entered from the alley. He was very friendly and helpful. Loved the recliners, would definitely stay there again.

Staying at Jay and Erika’s place was a nice escape from the everyday grind. The super comfortable bed and relaxing hot tub were highlights for me. The place was a good jumping off point for exploring the beaches. I hiked Coronado beach, La Jolla beach and mission to Pacific beaches. Seaside pizza company near pacific beach was great NY style pizza—thin and crispy. Overall, this was a nice reset for me at a peaceful, comfortable spot in San Diego.

I really enjoyed the stay. It's a great listing. It's very clean and spacious. I highly recommend it. I will keep it in mind when I visit San Diego next time.

This is hands down one of the best stays my husband and I have ever had! Not only was the place super easy to find, but it was well stocked, clean and comfortable. The host, Connie, was extremely kind and flexible with us when our check in was late. She made us feel right at home and the value of the stay far exceeds the price. I highly recommend their granny flat in La Mesa and hope I can come back again very soon!!

Lindsey was an amazing host and the place was just as amazing! very nice and cozy inside and it was in a perfect location about 15 minutes from downtown. every place we had planned for the trip was very close and the beach less than 4 minutes away was a nice plus! it was very clean we spilled water on the floor and when we wiped it up the paper towel came up still white! i would definitely stay here again :)

The cottage and location are absolutely amazing! The ocean is so close that you can hear the sound of crashing waves from the front and backyard. When I wasn't out visiting family or attending meetings, I spent hours just quietly relaxing in the interior courtyard. It was so quiet and peaceful that you could almost believe you were staying in a tropical oasis! The cottage itself was so clean and comfortable and was stocked with all my essential needs. It absolutely looked like the pictures and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I come to San Diego often for business and to visit family and I will definitely be staying here again. The location of this house is the big seller. Just a short stroll to the beautiful Windinsea beach meant we could walk the beach every morning and evening. Easy drives to downtown San Diego and to the Cove area with its wildlife, restaurants and shopping. The house and amenities are nice too. Hot tub was perfect and the upper deck has great views! The hot water heater was not working but they sent out technicians as soon as they heard about it and was fixed same day. And you do have to walk up a flight of stairs to enter the space so be prepared. The whole family had a wonderful time.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Obviously, we stayed here for the ocean view and roof top terrace which did not disappoint. It is within walking distance to fun activities and places to eat. It is also close enough to some great restaurants within 2-3 miles (we used Lyft which averaged about $6-10 each way). The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was ample space for 3 adults and a teenager. There were plenty of things to do with a nice mix of peace (from the absolutely wonderful roof top terrace) and entertainment (groups on the boardwalk, Belmont Park, SeaWorld, and the Zoo). Any questions we had, Erin or Christina were quick to respond. We had an issue with hooking up the AC unit due to a piece missing that was apparently being cleaned. Within 1 hour Erin arrived with a new piece and hooked it right up for us. Amazing service! If we found ourselves in SD again, we'd definitely stay here and recommend for others!

Spencer’s place was amazing!! Beautiful home and a great overall location for visiting San Diego. Very comfortable. Easy to get to all of the fun San Diego activities. Would 1000% recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay

Absolute gem of a place to stay at! Comfortable sized house for 3 located just a few blocks from the beach AND with great dining options nearby. It's great fun walking though the neighborhood - all the houses are beautiful! The kitchen is also stocked just like how it would be at home. Salt, pepper, cooking oil, pots and pans, knives, cutting board, etc.

The space is exactly as described and really beautiful. Jessica was extremely quick to reply and a lovely host. The kitchen and backyard spaces are awesome. Overall, it was a perfect space to suit our needs. We would stay here again if it's available the next time we're in town.

This was my 2nd stay at Marisa's properties and my daughter and I felt so at home because of the variety of household goods Marisa provides for her guests and we had the most amazing time. Not only is the house decorated beautifully and immaculately clean, but each guest room is so well appointed with many blankets/pillows and the most comfortable beds. My daughter loved the showers especially the large rainfall nozzle. The outside area is the star of this unique property as you feel like you are at a Hawaiian luau as you bbq or sit in the dining area and/or relax in the jacuzzi surrounded by a variety of eclectic decor and plush landscaping. So so much detail, care and energy is given at Marisa's properties, you will have the most amazing experience here. I am so thankful for her attentiveness as a host and she is so easy to communicate with and my daughter and I will definitely be back for trip 3 soon. Thank you Marisa!!! We had the best time ever.

Enjoyed our stay so much. Paolo was a great host. You literally have everything you need here. The bed was so comfortable. The balcony was so cute and the natural lighting and all the windows was amazing to have. Would stay here again!!

I enjoyed staying at Vivian's place and it worked just fine for my purposes. I was in town for a conference and the home is about a 20 minute walk to the convention center. The apartment was well appointed and I appreciated the in-unit washer and dryer. The home is in a quiet area of the city and fairly residential. There weren't many people walking around when I was coming back at night, which did give me pause as a solo female traveler, however I found the surroundings to be safe and had no problems.

Our stay in San Diego was truly memorable, thanks in large part to this fantastic condo. Its central location made it easy to explore everything the city has to offer—SeaWorld, the zoo, museums, Liberty Station, and the beaches—all just a short drive away. One of the highlights for our two-year-old was watching planes take off and land nearby, which added an extra layer of excitement to our trip. The condo was one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in it truly made us feel at home. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again—thank you for a wonderful experience!

Lovely Airbnb that was quiet but within walking distance of a lively street with nice bars and restaurants. Had a great stay!

location was perfect. peaceful. close to beach and shops. liked the layout of apartment. spacious not cluttered. easy to maintain.. appreciated having free netflix and amazon prime. .Lastly Cassandra, generous host. allowed extra time for checkout.

This is our second time staying at Niloofar’s Airbnb and it was, again, a fantastic experience. It is a great location within walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants and shops nearby. The Airbnb is clean, matches the photos exactly, and was the perfect base camp for a family of four. Niloofar was also extremely responsive; after an initial mixup she immediately made sure we had a pack n’ play for our son. Everything about our stay was great; we can’t say enough about this location and host—we hope to be back soon!!
