Exotic haven in the heart of Tunis

I spent a whole week in the house as if I was at home. Everything was fine. It was suitable for me. It was close to the airport and the area where I have appointments and work. The host was wonderful in everything. I will come back again, God willing...
A serene pool glows in soft turquoise under the evening sky. Surrounding greenery includes a tall tree providing shade. A patio umbrella stands beside the pool, accompanied by outdoor seating that invites relaxation. Gentle lighting illuminates the area, enhancing the comfortable setting.

The Kram Nugget!

We had a lovely stay at Hamza‘s apartment. A real gem right on the beach in a local neighborhood and the view from the terrace is just amazing. Hamza welcomed us personally and responded quickly to any questions during our stay. We definitely recommend it!

Typical Medina house

WaqarRating, 5 stars3 months ago
As a digital nomad, I’ve been using Airbnb and similar situations for the last 2+ years and can confidently say this is the most beautiful and unique place I’ve stayed. It is the kind of place where you get inspired. It is part museum and part fruit of love of the owners meticulous restoration efforts of this historic house. But don’t be scared. It has all the modern amenities and they work perfectly well. Amel had warned me about the wifi coverage being it the medina but the wifi worked pretty great in one part of the house which was good enough for me and I managed to work remotely without a hitch. I can’t wait to return and bring friends next time!

Tamurt Cottage, the Tunisian Toscana

5 Stars. This house offers a unique experience if you are self-driving in Tunisia. My family of 5 stayed a week and we were very comfortable. Kids all had their own bedroom and the house was spacious with lovely views. Kitchen is well-stocked and both the host and caretaker are very lovely. The caretaker even cooked traditional Tunisian dishes for our family. There are loads of Roman ruins in the area (some as close as a 5 minute drive) and we loved exploring and walking in the Parc National Djebel Zaghouan. The Wi-Fi is sometimes slow (especially after rains), but the hot spots on our phones worked well when local internet was lagging. If you're sensitive to noise overnight, you will hear roosters and dogs, bring ear plugs. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would return again.

In the Heart of the Medina: 3 Charming Rooms

IsraaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Such a beautiful home and VERY hospitable host. Exceeded our expectations by far. I would not hesitate to book this home. I wish every Airbnb experience was the same as ours at Aymen’s place.
A modern living area features a cozy seating arrangement with three glass-top tables. A black stone fireplace is present, displaying flickering flames. A hanging chair adds to the inviting atmosphere, while a warm rug and decorative elements enhance the space.
