I loved my five day stay at Harm’s converted garage studio. Wonderful neighborhood - quiet residential neighborhood, and a quick bike ride to the central city. Lots of restaurants, bars, walking and running paths nearby. Harm was extremely friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend enough.

It was a lovely well equipped cosy room with a wonderful bed, shower, and amenities. Offered a breakfast in the morning which was lovely and incredibly welcome! Wonderful people, wonderful place.

Always wanted to stay in a werfkelder. This one is a jewel in the city. CX y be more downtown than this and with springhaver parking 1 minute away, even easy to get to by car!!

I spent 6 nights at Dennis’ house. I arrived at his place a couple of hours later than planned; Dennis waited for me and gave me an orientation before leaving to care for his things. I had the whole house to myself for 5 nights. Dennis checked in daily to see how I was doing and gave me suggestions on my activities. The railway workers went on strike a couple of days during my stay. Dennis provided updates and make sure I was alright using alternate ways to travel. A great host! I felt I was under great care. The house was charming and very quiet. It was 20 minutes away from the Ultrecht old town, which was great fun to explore on foot. The Central station 15 minutes away on foot or 3 minutes by bus. I visited Amsterdam (twice), Rotterdam and Kinderdijk using public transportation. I had an excellent time in the Netherlands, partly thanks to Dennis’ hospitality.
