The Stöckelkeller is the former inn in the village of Unternschreez near Bayreuth. By car, the university is 10 minutes away, the city center is 15 minutes away and the Festspielhaus is 20 minutes away. You will stay on 29 square meters (13 square meters of living & cooking; 11 square meters of sleeping; 5 square meters of bathroom) in modern, friendly rooms. We have equipped the apartment the way we like it when we travel. The house is right next to the small Margravial Schreez Castle. In 2021 & 2022, we completely renovated the house.

It is 35 m2 in size with a large living/sleeping area, a completely new kitchenette in the entrance area. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a new tumble dryer and a washing machine. Idyllically located and beautifully furnished penthouse apartment – ideal for two. Not only the house and yard dog Nemo greeted you very friendly, but the family is also very nice and helpful. You can relax in the apartment and on its balcony – between cattle and fallow deer – but also pursue various outdoor activities in fairytale nature in the area. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

Andrea and Alex are an excellent hostess and host. Very kind and helpful. Great welcome and from day one you feel at home. Beautiful home with all the comforts you can imagine. Highly recommend.

Had a great stay at the house. We especially liked the beautiful terrace, the large kitchen (fully equipped) and the large living room with smart TV. The second bedroom has two "normal" sized single beds - but is designed more as a children's room. So not so suitable for two couples. In the living room, there is also a single bed. Lovely quiet location, 10 minutes from the market square in Wirsberg. Great communication with the hosts! Everything is perfect :) Next year again!
