Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

A winding road is framed by trees showcasing vibrant autumn foliage, with leaves in shades of orange, yellow, and red. The road curves gently, leading into the peaceful forested landscape, inviting exploration of the natural surroundings.

This was a wonderful stay in this cozy neighborhood, our host Meagan was friendly and helpful, the house was clean, spacious, beds were comfy and we had a lovely view of the cows from the farm bordering the backyard. We will definitely book again for next year!

Alexis and her parents have a beautiful property that brings so much joy. The peaceful surroundings are calming and restful. Flowers, birds, and butterflies are my favorite and there are a lot of them of all kinds on their property :) Watching the sunrise on the back porch in the morning and watching the full moon come up in the evening was amazing.
