On the 1st floor of a family home (owners live on ground) in the countryside: superb view of the Bernese Alps. Conveniently located in the 3 Lakes region: Neuchâtel, Biel and Murten (equipped beaches). Free parking, fully equipped kitchen, wood-burning stove in living room, laundry room. Dining area+BBQ in garden. 10 minutes' walk from the station. Swiss Jura mountains, altitude of 1111 m. Hiking, skiing, snowshoes, horse riding, are activities near the chalet (skis to rent at the ski ressort near the chalet). Biel, Bienne in french is 20 min drive from the chalet. Jura, Bern, Neuchâtel are 1 hour by car from the chalet. Wifi, sauna are free, easy to use. Prices includes "tourist tax 4.-" day/person. Free parking. (chalet is 30 m. walking distance from parking). Because of animals, please drive slowely in evening..

The Salamander

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located in a clearing surrounded by forest. Almost no noise from civilization, close to a stream and a waterfall, La Salamandre is a peaceful oasis. Enjoy 3 terraces, cool accommodation even in the middle of summer and abundant nature. La Salamandre is similar to a troglodyte accommodation with its kitchen on the ground floor carved out of the stone. The stone construction gives a very special charm.

2 1/2 room apartment, large and open, in an old Jurahaus. Well-equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, bedroom "à l'étage" with double bed (attention: steep stairs!), two single beds in the living room (put together or single, as desired), on request also for 5 people (sofa bed or mattress on the floor). Central heating, Swedish stove "pour le plaisir" Postbus stop just a few steps away.

In addition to the hosts, friendly dogs, cats, sheep, donkeys and chickens live on the Bühlmenschwand farm.
