Historic farmhouse from 1864, centrally located between the Veluwe forests, heaths and sand drifts and the Veluwemeer the lake surrounding the new land of the polders. Enjoy the space, nature, tranquility and old fishing villages, while cities such as Zwolle, Amersfoort and Amsterdam are easily accessible. The house is equipped with every comfort and a large garden is available for the guests. We have room for 1-6 guests. We do serve an extensive and as much as possible organic breakfast.

Walk/bike (for rent) through the Baarn woods, light a fire at Zwiethouse, to the Soesterduinen, eat pancakes in Lage Vuursche, by bike boat to Spakenburg or shopping in Amsterdam, Amersfoort or Utrecht. In the picturesque Voorthuizen, there is much to do, so besides tranquility there is plenty of entertainment to find in the area. Every Saturday market and plenty of terraces around the square.

The cottage is situated on a small family estate, in beautiful forest, just outside a village (at just 600m ), in the largest nature area of The Netherlands, with ancient woods and vast fields of heather on its doorstep. The house is spacious but also cosy and comfortable, with a luxury bathroom, complete kitchen, a woodburner stove and all the other comfort you need. Wolves can sometimes be heard howling, if you're lucky...
