Located on the sand drift and heath and nature reserve de Haere. Here you will wake up with the sounds of many birds. There is a lot of privacy in the garden and on the terrace. You can also enjoy the spacious canopy in less nice weather. A few km away you will find the old fishing town of Elburg and Harderwijk with harbor and many terraces and shops.

We built it with much love and fun in a creative, organic way from recycled, found and donated materials. The (20 square m.) little house is simple, but under the care of a big Douglas Pine tree and with enough basic elements in kitchen, house and own private garden you can feel relaxed safe and happy! 26 km from Amsterdam 24 km Utrecht 5,6 km Hilversum 200m from nature!

Elburg - Fortress "Bij de jufferen"

In the medieval fortress of Elburg lies this monumental residence (1850) with many authentic details. On the ground floor is the private entrance. You can also put your bikes there. On the first floor (old steep staircase😉) you will find a cozy living room with kitchen. Also here is the staircase to the loft where the bedroom is. You have access to a private kitchen with (simple) cooking facilities. The green fortress wall is 50 meters away, and you have a view of the historic church tower.

This unique home was built under architectural design and guidance. Rural location on the edge of forest and sand drift. The Veluwemeer is within cycling distance. Culture and culinary experiences are plentiful in the area. Downstairs, everything is on the ground floor. People with physical disabilities are also welcome. The cottage has its own entrance and cozy garden and the possibility to store and charge your bicycles.
