My stay in Gabriele's apartment was really nice. The apartment is very nice and elegant, recently renovated, and everything was fresh and clean — as soon as you arrived, you could still smell again! The location is excellent, right in the heart of Tuscany and close to the highway, which makes it easy to reach cities such as Pisa, Lucca and Florence. The apartment is well equipped and can comfortably accommodate up to three people. All furnishings look new, and the beds are extremely comfortable. There is also air conditioning, very comfortable in summer and not so common in the area. The kitchen is a little small, but perfectly functional for short stays. Gabriele is a great host — very kind, helpful and always responsive. I highly recommend it to those looking for a cozy and well-connected base to explore Tuscany!

Both the apartment and the hosts are clear standard setters for us. We stayed for some 10 days and left with heavy hearts. Our experience in Laura's apartment was special because of the delicate balance of on the one hand feeling immersed and welcome in the local setting and, on the other hand, being communicated to efficiently (all instructions were in Italian as well as in English) with lots of good humor and friendliness. The rooms are luxuriously spacious and equipped with large windows and all creature comforts for a most pleasant stay. The view over the farmlands to the east provides a beautiful sense of being in a special place.
