Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Berkeley County

This is our second time staying with Gina, and I still say it's the best run Airbnb I've ever seen. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook. They have robes and plenty of fluffy towels, quality bath products, everything is clean, and check-in/out is a breeze. The hot tub on the deck is perfect, and the fire pit had kindling supplied. Just really, they've made sure you have everything you need for a private, peaceful vacation. My partner and I hope to return soon for another weekend retreat.

Stacey’s apartment was clean and thoughtfully arranged to provide so many extra kitchen and bathroom items. It was kind and definitely over-the-top!!!! She also generously offered to help with some car trouble I was having. I would stay there again for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Dorothy while visiting family in Shepherdstown, WV. The rooms were spacious and well stocked with plenty of various linens and towels, and the snacks and ice were appreciated in the kitchen. This place was exactly what we wanted for a Mother's Day retreat. The house itself was great, and what Ken has done with the back yard area is really special. With the fire pit, multiple levels, trails, lighting. We loved it, and our dogs loved it too! It was very private, beautiful scenery, and very relaxing. Felt like we were at our own private resort.

We had a very relaxing weekend here, and enjoyed spending time on the deck, by the creek, and the screened-in porch. The property itself is quite private and our dog really enjoyed running around on the yard. The indoor living room/kitchen area was a little tight, but manageable for us. Thanks for a great stay!

The Cozy Cabin was the absolute best stay we've had in this area so far. The Farm was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful, well cared for, very spacious and plenty of room for my dog to romp around. The charm of the Cozy Cabin was on another level. Beautiful soft color. An open air feeling and the beds were so comfortable, you melted into them. Everyone said it was the best sleep they had away from home. The Hosts were so friendly and responsive, we absolutely love them and loved our stay. Please look no further when considering a place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The view from the deck is absolutely incredible at sunrise. It’s about a 25 minute drive to town where we enjoyed mulling around at the unique local shops and checking out the Roman baths. Jacqueline also did a great job communicating her expectations for our tidying things up upon departure. Thank you!

Donald and Barbara have an amazing house! I am into history and the the reason I came here was because of that history. Both Donald and Barbara were very knowledgeable about the house and the history of the house, including the surrounding area. What a beautiful place to stay and soak up the local history, that includes my ancestors. Antietum, Harpers Ferry, and Gettysburg are all within reach from this central location. We had such an awesome visit, and hopefully we can be back sometime soon.

place was very nice looked just the pictures, location was good many things to do around the location. Lesley was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent host. Very clean place, beautiful property. Laura was amazing. It was like staying with a good friend. We bought some of her eggs and delicious honey. We would definitely stay there again. My wife and I and our fur babies will miss Laura, Jerald, and Dasher.

Kristin is very responsive and accommodating. Her place is perfect for my son who stayed there of 12 weeks comfortably. He likes that the kitchen is equipped with enough pots and pans to use and an in-house washer and dryer. He feels safe since it's very close to the federal building and the church. Bed is comfortable, Furnitures are all in good condition, you will really feel at home.

Siri was extremely responsive and helpful. She took the time to reach out and make sure we had everything we needed. It was great to find a place centrally located between Martinsburg, Shepherdstown, Charles Town, and Harpers Ferry.

I stayed at Derwin's place for a weekend getaway just myself and my dogs to relax and unwind. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was peaceful and very close to the antique mall and the casino (Hollywood) was five minutes away. One of my favorite restaurants Alfredo's was also right up the street;although Derwin does provide a list of local restaurants and stores. The place was very clean and quiet....... I will definitely be staying here the next time I decide to go to the casino.

I almost don't want to write a positive review because I'd like this condo to be available only to me. It was perfect! The place is comfortable and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Easy ski in/out access, and perfect for a family that has some that stay on the slopes a little longer than others. We just hope this place will be available again when we visit next.

I think this is the best slope side ski condo at Whitetail. The slopes are right outside the door and the place is cute, clean, and comfortable. We will be going back!

This studio apartment-room was a great stay! It was the closest building to the top of the Double lift, 8-10 minutes from line to the apt door. Everything was as described for me, sans a guitar and a table or two. The wifi was fine for work, not great for gaming on my pc, though. Overall, my pet and I enjoyed every second of our 2+ weeks, on and off the slopes (just me), and look forward to staying again. Thanks!

This was a perfect stay in a beautiful condo with a terrific host. There was nothing more you could ask for. Katie's condo was as neat as a pin, had everything I needed, and was both easily accessible to everything I wanted to get to, but restful and quiet. I liked it so much. I added it on an extra night.

This air bnb was perfect for a weekend getaway to Whitetail resort. The unit is steps away from the slopes, and Renee was not only responsive and extremely helpful, but able to accommodate schedule changes to make our trip happen.

Alison's place is great if you value being walkable to Old Town. We prefer this over staying at the Wyndham Grand because of the separate room for our baby to sleep in. The kitchen is modern and fridge with a water filter is clutch. We didn't try to make any meals. Bed was clean/firm, HVAC was responsive, and lounge chair in the sitting area was comfortable. You can hear the train and street noise (especially cars w/o mufflers) at night, but I assume that's the case if you stay anywhere near Old Town.

The place was wonderful!
