We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The care and attention to the renovation of this historic house is clear everywhere. Beautifully and comfortably equipped, the interiors are such a joy, we adored this house and would recommend to anyone looking for modern amenities in a characterful historic setting. Comfortable beds, beautiful linens, well stocked kitchen, wonderful views and a scenic location less than an hour outside Bergen and looking out over the quaint harbour, this was a really relaxing cosy location to spend Christmas. Would love to visit in summer too. Highly recommended.

Great location for this beautiful house, perfectly as described and as shown in the photos. Anders was very friendly, proactive and responsive by messaging. Small touches were waiting for us upon arrival, and the living room was very nicely decorated for Christmas. The 40-degree Jacuzzi facing the fjord is a must! Only one slight downside on the cleanliness of the kitchen which was good but not impeccable. A very nice place to recommend without hesitation. Thanks again for a wonderful Christmas in Bergen.

Conveniently located just 5 minutes from tram line 1. Easy parking nearby. It has two bedrooms, including a master suite upstairs, as well as a perfectly equipped office. The living room is welcoming and warm, and the kitchen fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The host is very responsive. I would highly recommend it!

We had a very nice week here. The place is very nice, spacious and clean. Everything works perfectly. The location is also a dream, the accommodation is in a small, very quiet place. We thought Lars was a great host, he was always very friendly, helpful and responded within minutes. All in all, we can only say positive things about Lars' place!

We stayed at Hilde's house for 2 nights, and felt right at home. The house was immaculate, the master bedroom and bathroom were extremely large ( the second bedroom and bed is smaller). The living room is very comfortable with a huge sectional and the second bathroom comes with a washer and dryer, which was much appreciated! Hilde welcomed us with a fruit and chocolate platter, and the kitchen was very well stocked. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on a different floor from the living area. Hilde checked on us throughout the visit to make sure we had all we needed. This is a great home for a family to rent while in the Bergen area...close to two grocery stores and lots of parking.

We appreciate all the details Julia put in to make her apartment so comfortable, like electric outlet adapter for foreigners, microwave oven, quality appliances. The bathroom is large with a good shower and a sitting bench. Dedicated parking near the front door. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Quick & easy communication. Good value. Highly recommend.

Great, The house is usually inhabited and there are personal belongings. If you are not used to it, it is strange, but there is plenty of space. They left us a nice welcome gift.

Amazing location! I stayed here with some family through the 17th of May (Norway’s Constitution Day and biggest holiday) and it was so easy to walk downtown and run back if we needed anything. Pros: The space is beautiful and BIG, beds are insanely comfortable and I wouldn’t have minded sleeping on the couches, full kitchen with full size refrigerator, chest freezer in the laundry room, functioning washer/dryer in its own separate room, extra half bathroom, big semi-private front courtyard, a ton of extra towels, market right around the corner Cons: washer beeps when it’s done so make sure it’s not running before bed, kitchen cooking utensils were a bit lacking - had to buy basic kitchen amenities like oil, salt and pepper, really high quality dish ware was provided which seemed great but not practical for everyday use. Overall a wonderful place and would love to stay again!

Great accommodation at Explore Bergen. Quickly by bus in the city. Check-in was also possible earlier. Apartment cozy and had everything you needed. Very nice hostess!

A lovely and well equipped apartment to come home to after a day exploring the area and Bergen. The cute cups and vases with flowers, so thoughtful! We felt very much at home; the kitchen is able to cook very fully and nicely. Thank you Anders and Anne for hospitality!

This was an amazing spot for our 3 day stay in Bergen. The instructions were perfect, the space was big enough for the two of us that we felt comfortable spending slow mornings there, enjoying tea and espresso. And the view from right outside our door, wow! The walk down to the center of Bergen was pretty short and it was fun navigating the streets and staircases down. Having the Promsgate funicular stop nearby was also helpful after a morning spent biking up at Fløyen. We enjoyed our stay, and Ørjan and Camille were so kind as to be flexible for our needs. We'd very happily return!

We were very satisfied with the accommodation and with the communication with Siv who was always very responsive and kind! The view from the house is breathtaking, the accommodation is easily accessible even without a car. We highly recommend this listing!!!

Our five-day stay in this beautiful, large house on the island was wonderful. It was a great adventure to travel to the island by motorboat. The house is located on a hill with magnificent views in all directions and offers both plenty of space and comfort. The hot tub was surprisingly no longer available, but that didn't bother us much given the manageable length of stay and the very changeable weather anyway. Elisabeth was a wonderful hostess. The information was very precise and helpful. She always responded to questions super quickly and kindly. We highly recommend everyone to experience this island adventure and enjoy this luxurious property.

Host is very responsive and receptive. The house is beautiful and one with its surroundings. You stare right onto the water. No complaints. I would definitely come back again.

We absolutely loved this house and it made our trip so much more enjoyable! Our kids loved getting in the hot tub after exploring for the day. There is a waterfall a little ways behind the home that was fun to explore. The beds were insanely comfortable and overall everything felt spacious and cozy! I will say that I was a bit surprised at the walk to the house. I’m not sure why I was expecting a paved walkway that would be easy to carry your luggage on but it is definitely not that. Ha! It is very steep at the end and when carrying your luggage it feels like it is never ending. I would absolutely recommend you use the ATV service if you have anything more than carryon luggage. We were looking to experience a little of a Norwegian hytte and enjoyed our stay tremendously. What a thoughtfully planned and beautifully designed place. Thank you for sharing this amazing space for others to enjoy. We took a dip in the Fjord, enjoyed the stillness of the forest, and took in the unforgettable views of the water and hills. It was sufficiently far from major town centers while still having a small town center ( Eikelandsosen) 10 minutes away by car with supermarket and amenities. A wonderful location.

The place is super cozy and very tastefully decorated, we felt right at home. Spectacular view from the terrace and living area overlooking the sea ml We were particularly pleased with the additional equipment for our baby. There was nothing missing and so we could all spend relaxed days together :)

We had a wonderful trip and stay. The house is an absolute dream and just as beautiful as in the pictures. We felt very comfortable, like at home. The location is perfect, quiet and beautiful. Our host Linda is very attentive and friendly, we will be back very soon. That was my best Norway experience so far :)

It was fabulous, great information provided by Adijol and he has great response time for any queries, the location was great and my partner loved the kayaks. there was parking outside and was central and a great spot. Would defiantly come back and recommend to anyone!
